    Hello,

    What is the point of doing DB lateral raises on ones knees vs standing? I don’t particularly like putting pressure on my knees so I’d like to weigh the benifit of doing them on my knees vs subbing them out for standing DB lateral raises. Thanks!

    Hey Alisa- doing these on your knees disables your lower body from assisting/stabilizing you during this movement which forces more of the workload to be in the targeted muscle area. You don’t have to do them on your knees, however, if it aggravates your knees, you can do them seated or standing.
