I have rotator cuff issues and did the shoulder workout this morning. I’m wondering if I can sub bent arm lateral raises for straight arm lateral raises. I assume so but it’s not on the list of alternates. This is my first ever challenge so am trying to do it properly as I am a light weights person until today!October 14, 2019 at 12:52 pm #297950
I dont recommend bent arm lateral raises (I dont actually see the point in doing them). In a lateral raise your arm should be slightly bent but not at a 90 degree angle.

Shoot, ok thanks. I can’t do the one arm either and the machine was brutal. I have a slight impingement. I’ll try all the options and find the best one! Thanks!
