    Hello, Well, I wasn’t surprised I couldn’t do the Smith machine pull-ups in the new PSC program. I need help finding ways to build my strength to be able to work up to these.

    Following this thread. I can do the pulling up part overall but I feel like I’m putting some “legs” into it as I come up. Is that ok at all? Any tips? Thanks.

    The lower the bar is, and the further underneath the bar you are, the harder and more intense this exercise will be. To modify this exercise in order to build up your strength, try raising the bar up a little higher and not going underneath it at as much of an angle. does that make sense?
