    Hi!! Are these HITT trainings require the use of heart rate monitors?

      They do not require heart rate monitors but it is a good tool to use to make sure you are working hard enough.

    Do the workouts give a suggested heart rate range for the working and non-working intervals, that is my problem with HIIT is knowing if I’m working hard enough. Also, how long, on average, is each workout? Thanks Nicole.

      If you are doing a proper HIIT, it should be about 20-30min long. HR can go as high as 190bpm at the high interval and 140 at the low. It is balls to the wall as hard as you can. Recover for 1-2min and then repeat.

    Are there guidelines as to what heart rate should be during work vs non-work intervals, my hardest part with HIIT is knowing if I am truly working hard enough, but I have a heart rate monitor so knowing what to shoot for would be a huge help. Also, what is the average length of each session?

    Is any equipment required to do these workouts? How many times a week and how long is the duration of the workouts?

      Some equipment is required but not for every workout. The duration of the workouts range from 15min-45min.

    If one is training hard ( lifting heavy ) about 5-6 days a week, what would you recommend after lifting a HIIT or steady cardio?
