My shoulder has popped out of place twice while doing dumbbell pullovers, so I’ve decided it’s probably not a good exercise for me😂🤣. I have substituted straight arm pull downs with a band in the past to hit my lats, but is there another suggestion for an exercise that might be better?

Straight arm pull-overs (pull-downs) with bands or cables is what I would recommend as an alternative.
