    Lower carbs means our bodies can’t rely on that as the only source of energy. So the lower carbs forces our bodies to tap into the body fat to fuel these workouts. If we kept it at higher carbs our bodies would have less “incentive” to burn body fat. The lower carbs is an adjustment though, not going to lie. I found myself a bit cranky but the results are worth it! Hope this helps!

    Due to the amount of weight training and cardio, all while being in a calorie deficit, the extra protein will help preserve the muscle tissue while losing body fat. While our bodies are in a calorie deficit, calories from any source (including protein calories) would not go to waste. Hope that helps 🙂
