Yeah definitely not a sub for breasts. I didn’t mean that I just couldn’t get breasts so I was trying to figure out it I could make thighs work for one of the meals that had an FP. I looked on MFP just now and it looks like 3oz of cooked chicken thighs has roughly the same fat macros as 4oz ground turkey.

I totally understand I need to eat a 5th meal my question is why that one. Why can’t I have that as meal 2 and one of the others as meal 5. Is there some reason why meal 5 on no training days needs to not have fat is what I’m trying to understand.

I second this! The ebook is a fantastic upgrade. This is the first challenge I’ve done in awhile and between the ebook and the exchange list it almost feels too easy 😂. Really appreciate the effort put into theses challenges and that they are offered at an affordable price.

The recipe was updated. You have the original that was missing 2 ingredients. If you check the site now it’s fixed.

I’m pretty sure Nicole said in the q and a that as long as you kept the post workout meal intact the rest didn’t matter as long as you were getting all your food in.

I’ve definitely been splitting somethings up to help with hunger and also just schedule reasons.

I mixed it by hand but I let the cream cheese soften on the counter before I started. I had a couple of small lumps of cream cheese but they just added to the deliciousness.

The macros per meal are listed on the meal plan on the second page but like person above said they never match mfp exactly.

If you triple the recipe and make 6 muffins or x4 the recipe and make 8 then yes 1 muffin = 1 serving.

Which size of muffin mold did you use?
    Thanks

I used the larger size that have 6 per pan.

After a complete fail in the microwave I tripled the recipe and made 6 muffins. I cooked them at 350 for 28minutes and they are awesome!

You can just grind up oatmeal. Way cheaper that way. That’s what I did and turned out fine.

Naomi answered in another thread that there really isn’t a substitute and to try ordering them online if you can’t find them locally.

It’s on the same page as the blueberry bread. Right after the grocery list.

The closest thing I could find macro-wise is Morningstar Farms chicken strips. I haven’t been the hugest fan of them in the past but I’m going to try them again. If you find something else that’s close let me know.

I’m really bummed I don’t have last years. It’s one of the few challenges I don’t have. My Dad was in the hospital last year and I miss it 😩

2cups. I think. I have a 4×6 glass dish it holds 2 cups of water.

I’m trying to figure out how to convert this recipe to loaf pan size. I think it would be much better baked in the oven. Baking isn’t really my strong suit though so if anyone has any suggestions I’d welcome them. 😃

I cut the ends off and cut them in half, put them on a baking sheet with aluminum foil coated with cooking spray. Season however you like. I just used salt and pepper. Cook in over at 375 for 35-45 minutes.

It looks like the do’s and dont’s didn’t get updated from the last challenge. I think we are supposed to follow what it says on the actual meal plan sheet page 2.

I was wondering about this as well. It doesn’t seem like 1 lb of ground chicken could be enough for 6 servings. Also the recipe says ground chicken breast but the fat macros look more like regular ground chicken (not breast). Hoping someone will clarify this this morning before food prep gets underway.

The recipe says ground chicken BREAST which I think is usually the extra lean (98%)
