ParticipantI’m just getting started with the challenge, as my husband and I were vacationing in Italy. Although we ate (and drank 🙂 on the trip, we also did a lot of walking, so I’m not starting off in too terrible of a position. Although I’m late starting the challenge, I’m looking forward to it. Good luck to everyone who already began!

ParticipantHi Sue-
Yes – I had to subscribe to Amazon and then download the app.

ParticipantLike Naomi suggested, the psyllium husks capsules are my best friend when carbs are lowered. Drink ample water when taking them or they could cause problems while swallowing them. I also drink 3 Ballerina tea which helps to keep things on track.

ParticipantThanks Naomi! I just found a video post of Nicole doing upright rows and will be sure to do them correctly. So glad I can keep them in my routine!

ParticipantHi-
I’ve never regained any weight after stopping the fat burners, as long as I continued to stick to my healthy eating and working out. Since this is an extreme challenge, I imagine I’ll naturally gain some weight once it’s over, depending on how much I lose, but will continue to look much leaner and more muscular before I started. No one I know, walks around looking “stage ready” all year, so I’m fine with that. The fat burners just give me a little boost. I don’t think they’re strong enough to reverse all the hard work you’ve put in, once you stop taking them. I’m of course no expert, but wanted to share my personal experience.
Good luck to each of you!

ParticipantI’ve tried a few different brands over the years and I personally like the original Jet Fuel by GAT. It has to say “original” on the bottle, as there are a few other types by GAT like Pyro, which I didn’t care for as much. I love taking it on am empty stomach first thing in the morning before fasted cardio. It’s so far, my go to fat burner.

ParticipantHi Nicole-
Do you take a nitric oxide supplement pre workout? If so, do you cycle it or stop taking it during contest prep?
So excited about the 12 week Olympia Callenge. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to follow along with you!
You continue to inspire me!!!

ParticipantThanks Naomi! I will continue to stick to the plan and save my polenta until after the challenge. I’m seeing results and I don’t want to do anything to change that!
And you’re right, it’s just 21 days…I can do anything for 21 days 🙂

ParticipantHi Nicole-
Any tips for minimizing the appearance of cellulite. A trainer I know swears that coffee ground scrubs help. I also heard from a friend who is also an Olympia Physique competitor that putting Preparation H on your thighs and wrapping them in Saran Wrap before cardio helps temporarily precontest. While I know there’s no magic cream, I wondered if Amnilean helps a little. Would love your feedback on this question. Can’t wait to cheer you on at the next Olympia. I saw you win the 2014 but didn’t get a chance to meet you. Hopefully I will this year. You inspire!!!Aimee

ParticipantHi Nicole-
When will there be another 30 or 60 day challenge? I’m looking forward to it and thanks for responding to a previous post.
All the best to the best,
