ParticipantHi! I’m from the Chicago area in Illinois. Nice to meet you and Good Luck!!
Mandy
ParticipantHi Leanne – Not sure if anyone asked you yet, but were you using granulated stevia? It’s different than the packets – made to be equivalent measure to regular sugar. The packets are definitely more concentrated. Some recipes she’s calling for packets and some for granulated (like the parfait). You should look up the equivalent between them if you only have one or the other. I happen to have both in my cupboard, so just use what she says. Hope that helps!

ParticipantOne of them is here: https://nicolewilkins.com/fit-kitchen-meal-prep-part-2/
If you’re a member, you should be able to just search “meal prep” or “cooking” and find some relevant posts.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantIsn’t that the chain with the “lunk alarm”? I’ve seen on YouTube when they actually sound a siren etc. when someone lifts heavy, drops a weight, or grunts a little. I’m not about dramatic displays in the gym, but sometimes there’s a bit of noise when you’re working hard, right? Interesting that some of you have had some “normal” experiences at PF. Maybe they’re evolving. Anyway – judgement zone? That’s what headphones are for. Don’t worry about what anybody else is doing. You’ve got this!

ParticipantMy “what I’m going to eat” list is quite long LOL. I’ll have many weeks of treat meals to look forward to on the other side. That’s awesome you’ve got that right at home.
Mandy
ParticipantKeep going!
I’m a little nervous about the cutting phase, but looking forward to the results. 🙂
Mandy
ParticipantThanks!

ParticipantI had 2 PR’s in my back workout this morning! This is an amazing program!! It is so motivating to have both scale and non-scale progress. I don’t see huge changes in my pictures yet, but those have to be on their way – right?? 🙂
Mandy
ParticipantI think I know what I’m making time for tonight – perhaps after some foam rolling… 🙂
Mandy
ParticipantYum – will try this with both kinds… 🙂

ParticipantI like it! For me, I prefer having 1 “down” day a week – no work, no work out. 🙂 I get 1 session in early in the morning, which leaves me feeling like I did half my work for the day before I even finish my coffee – similar to your view of the week. I also like coming in to the office with the endorphins still kicked in. Makes for a zen morning most of the time. I’m not going to get the same results as if I could fit in 2 sessions a day to split the cardio and lifting, but I’m seeing good stuff, so I’ll stick with it. 🙂

ParticipantYou all are crushing it! Great work!! We are halfway through Phase I and – to our REFEED. 🙂 Keep up the positive self-talk, be your own cheerleader, and know you’re doing great things. Woot!
Mandy
ParticipantLove these tips! Thank you ladies

ParticipantI think the last 3 nights I’ve said to my husband “I’m hungry” at some point after dinner and before bed… 🙂 I love that – don’t cheat = closer to goals tomorrow. I also like to remember that I want something different, so that means I need to do something different. I really want to see what is possible if I see this all the way through. We’ve got this. Stay out of the pantry!

ParticipantHi there! I actually just use Spotify playlists – I like Rock This, Dance Pop, and Rage Radio. I looked for yours and couldn’t find it out there. Am always looking for new tunage for lifting.
Mandy
ParticipantI also use Califia unsweetened almond milk creamer. It’s just 10 calories per tablespoon, so I measure to make sure I stick with that. I don’t think 10 cal will make or break my results. 🙂
Mandy
ParticipantI wear a Fitbit Surge all the time, but I find the HR monitoring isn’t always very responsive when I’m working – when I really need to know where I am. 🙂 So I got a Polar last year and I really like it. I think it’s an A300.
Mandy
ParticipantI have experimented with splitting and it doesn’t seem to work out for me very well, so I will probably just do the workouts together the whole program – weights first, then cardio when required.
Good luck all!
Mandy
ParticipantI was actually a bit surprised that I had such strong cravings for sugar when I did a Whole 30 (30 days of basically a super strict paleo diet) a couple of years ago and it was really eye opening! I didn’t really think I had a sweet tooth, but I guess I do! 🙂 Now when I get more focused on my nutrition, it’s an expected part of the process and, for me, lasts about a week then tapers off. You’ll get through it. Stick to the plan. I saw on another post somewhere “In Nicole We Trust!” lol
~Good luck~

ParticipantSuburban Chicago here~ 🙂

ParticipantThe materials recommend cycling the fat burner – how much “off” time is recommended after the 8-10 weeks?
