ParticipantLet us know how it is, Lisa!
I don’t have a wake maker, either, but it looks so good!Amber Newton
ParticipantHey Heather!
I just want to say that you are doing GREAT, and even though you don’t feel like you’re SEEing big results, there is so much goog happening for your body because you are lifting and eating well.
I know that having perspective can be hard, because we constantly compare where we are now to previous versions of ourself. It is harder to lose weight when you are closer to your goal weight. I’ve also made little progress in the weight loss department this challenge (and my starting weight was literally 100 lbs overweight), and I have worked hard doing workouts and 90%+ on my meals over the past 9 weeks. But – I am STRONGER, faster, can jump higher, can work harder and longer during cardio, and know that I am feeding my body better that I was before the challenge. These aspects of health are harder to measure than simply the number on the scale.
So use those non-scale victories to keep yourself motivated and engaged in your health journey, even if weight loss does end up being a side effect.June 15, 2021 at 6:12 pm in reply to: Phase 2 – Thursday Workout Missing! (Home w dumbbells) #454040Amber Newton
ParticipantOh, OK. It just said “Day 3” for Wed and “Day 5” for Fri, so I was confused 🤣
Of course I didn’t look at the actual calendar….. lol

ParticipantMy hubby hates mushrooms, so I did half of the mushrooms – weighed the ones I had sliced and replaced with the appropriate amount of onions from the exchange list. I also added extra fresh shopped garlic and it is soooo good.

ParticipantHi Boshi23!
I have found that 2.5 small squash gave me 10 cups (I made a double recipe). The nice thing about the squash is that if they are uncut and uncooked, they last for a LONG time on the counter or in the fridge, and if you cook them and end up with too much then you can freeze it! -
