I use Bob’s Red Mill Oat Bran (it’s a hot cereal). I use a teaspoon and a half of Stevia, and I love it!

Sara- I don’t want to assume, but are you weighing everything? I can see you are scanning each product, which is awesome.
I had similar issues initially, but when I started weighing EVERYTHING in grams it really helped. And as the day progresses, sometimes you need to tweak your meals. For instance, last night, I found I was farther in my carb intake then I needed to be to have a protein pancake, so I regrouped and had a protein shake instead which kept me within 5 grams of my totals.
Lesson learned for me- weigh in grams always. These past 3 days are the first time I’ve hit my totals completely!
    Hope that helps.

Only have the post-workout shake on days that you lift.

I still can’t seem to get my macros to total correctly. I am following meal plan 2 exactly. Perhaps I’m imputing foods incorrectly. Maybe another pair of eyes can help me see what I’m doing wrong?

I’m not used to eating so much food! Honestly, I didn’t finish meal #3, and today I don’t think I will be finishing meal #4, or even eating #5 before I go to bed. Is this a problem anyone else is having? Is it a matter of allowing my body to acclimate to eating cleaner, more frequent meals?
Lols- I just never thought I’d be saying it’s too much.

Okay, Nicole, here it is. Sorry for the delay- I’m a night-shifter!

What I the world am I doing wrong? I’m following the meal plan, weighing my foods, and scanning all I can into Mynetdiary. I’ve also got Mynetdiary set up to default to grams for my macros instead of percentages.

Including supplements? Cuz when I totaled just my supplements (including the post-workout shake) I got 370 cals! That’s like a meal in and of itself!
My day doesn’t end until tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. so I’ll see how everything totals completely.

But… someone just pointed out to me on the FB page. Weigh your oats!!! 1/2 cup dry oats equals 52 grams. A portion is actually 40 grams, which is not quite a 1/2 cup. You’ll end up eating way more than you should.

I just noticed that you are the “Keymaster”. It made me think of the original Ghostbuster movie, giving me a good laugh! ????

I’m looking for some advice on the timing of taking my supplements.I work 3- 12hr shifts per week. On those nights that I work, I plan on doing my cardio before work, and weights after work. After working out, I will be planning to hit the hay within an hour!
Should I take two servings of BCAA- one during cardio and one during weights; will they affect my sleep taken within an hour of working out and sleeping?
Should I consume L-glutamine following my cardio with my breakfast, and again following my weights with my recovery protein shake?
My workout recovery protein shake will have to double as my bedtime recovery shake on those work nights.
It won’t happen often, since I’m scheduling my workouts around my shifts, but on those nights I do work and need to work-out, I just can’t figure out how to time my supplements.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Thanks for the replies! These are all helpful!
I’ve seen photos of people who prepare complete meals and stash in Ziploc boxes so they are ready to go. That’s what I’m hoping to do. So, maybe just do 1-2 days at a time?
Has anyone ever done egg whites ahead of time?

There are soooo many different EFAs out there! I hear ya.
I use MET-Rx Triple Omega 3-6-9. You can purchase them on Amazon for approximately $20.
