Hi Nicole, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions each month. Your answers are so thorough and encouraging and I always look forward to your Q&A videos. Extra special thanks for really emphasizing embracing our uniqueness and loving ourselves throughout the process. Self-esteem is a daily battle for me and it means a lot to hear honest and encouraging words from someone I admire so much. My question regards fat burners. I used Hydroxycut briefly, for about 2 weeks, over a year ago but dropped it because I didn’t like how it made me feel (sweaty, short of breath, nauseous and heart racing). I bought the NLA for Her stack recently and tried the Shred Her fat burner, hoping it wouldn’t affect me like Hydroxycut because it’s “all natural” and “for women.” I took one pill and within 20 minutes I felt severe tightness and tingly in my left arm and fingers. I didn’t experience the sweating or heart racing symptoms but the arm sensations really freaked me out. I can’t find anything about this particular reaction online. Is it normal? Are some people just not cut out for fat burners? Do we even really need them? Thank you again for your response!
