    Hey Julie sorry i dont have any expertise to add beyond what Naomi and Vicki have shared… but i just want to say you’re 45, 5’2 and 122lbs… GRRRRRRRRLLLLL you are the envy of many!!! Lol
    And im sure you look like a gym rat!!! ??

    Awwwhhh Lori im sorry that happened…
    I would just encourage you to not put so much into his comments… this sport can be ULTRA critical… and ive been in that place where i get freaked out by someone well-intended comment…

    Just let it roll off… i know its easier said than done but at the end of the day… how much weight does his opinion really hold??

    Grrrrrlllll… i know the feeling.. i experienced the same thing when i began living a more healthy lifestyle…

    Things that helped…
    1. Being social with like-minded fitness folks (had to make new friends)

    2. Whenever possible I’d organize the gathering… and plan something not centered around food… so instead of lets meet for lunch… we’d meet at a park and walk and talk…

    3. Have a balance… At first i quit attending food related functions altogether… once I became stronger then id go every now and then and indulge… (always made sure i ate clean all that week…lol)

    Kristin,

    It’s great that you are following the plan 100%. That’s awesome, as I’ve still had a few struggles here and there… However I’d say focus on celebrating that and not the 1 measure of the scale…

    Too avoid that discouraged feeling
    I’ve decided to weight myself only 3 times during this challenge..
    Beginning
    Middle (end of phase 1)
    End

    Yessssss girl i see the fruits of your labor!!! Keep it up…

    I don’t know pounds either… not gonna weigh until the end of phase 1… just sticking with the program is my focus!!

    I definitely felt stronger today doing the Monday leg workout. Was able to increase my weight on all the exercises!!!

    Im not even stepping on the scale… in phase 1 im measuring success by
    1. Am i sticking to my meal plan
    2. Do i make every rep count (make mind muscle connection & squeeze)
    3. Am i in bed by 945pm
    4. Am i drinking at least 6 bottles of water

    My week 1 grade was a B-/C+
    Need to improve on all areas.. but this is my focus… 🙂 🙂 🙂

    Hey everyone… I’m Charron in Tulsa, Ok. I’m trying to post im the general forum, but only see this message box when i reply to messages… how are you all sending your post… and yes, im logged in…lol

    Also my husband (who isn’t a member of NW group, but is still doing the 60DC. However he’s not able to upload pics without logging in??? Should he just email them directly?
