If you go back to the back of the book and find the Food Exchange List- it will list out what “1 serving” of all of the foods listed consists of. So- for shrimp, 6oz will equal one serving of LP, but other options of one serving of LP are for example: 4oz cod, 6 egg whites, 225g NF cottage cheese. So if you’re wanting to plan for your Meal 2 option but don’t want the protein that is suggested you can swap- she basically wants you to have: (option 1) 1-1/2 LP, 1-1/2 F, 1 SC, OR (option 2) 1 LP, 1-1/4 SC, 1-1/2 F. This just gets the macros in line with what she wants.
