ParticipantAfter reading some of the comments, I’m confused.
Are you saying the macros on the jar (and this is not microwaveable rice – I rarely buy that kind because of the sodium content) – anyway, the macros on the jar are for uncooked rice? Off so, where do I find the macros for cooked rice. And yes, I measured the rice after it was cooked.
Also, any recommendations on a brand that I should purchase?

ParticipantThe wild rice I bought did come in a jar – not microwaveable. I boiled water and added the rice.
I’ll look into the jasmine and basmati for next week.
Thank you

ParticipantI do prep in bulk for most meats but salmon just isn’t the same when stored in fridge. And considering the price of salmon, I’d like to cook daily so I don’t waste.
Some of the replies on Facebook group suggested increasing the weight needed by 15% to 25%, so I’m going to try that.

ParticipantThanks! I’m about to going shopping and have jasmine on hand but I can definitely pick up white for the challenge so the macros are the same 😊

ParticipantGood to know. I need to make another trip to the grocery store.
Typically, I cook my chicken in my air fryer, however, the turkey breast available at the store near is a full turkey breast (with bones) and frozen. So this past weekend, I cooked the turkey breast in the slow cooker then add to tear the meat from the bones and measure and portion out. Do you suggestions for a quicker way of preparing the frozen the turkey breast?

ParticipantHad an appointment with my doctor this morning. She gave me anti inflammatory meds and said to ice and elevate… and no lower body workouts for two weeks.
Then if it’s better, I can go back to working out. If not – or if it gets worse before – she wants to do an mri. She’s thinking it’s an arthritis flare up 😳
Then after getting to work I realized that I left my meals and water bottle at home.
So tomorrow I can back on track. Obviously no HIIT cardio for me and I’m planning on switching all lower body workouts to upper body workouts. So we’ll see what happens.

ParticipantI was wondering the same thing but for the potatoes. Can I cook a large skillet and then portion them out by weight?
