ParticipantHey Nicole
Yesterday with my trainer while doing leg press I hurt my lower left back/hip. I am pretty sure the piraformus. Went to my doctor got some strong pain relief and sustained release anti inflammatory, my mobility right now is awful can’t even put a pair of pants on. Weight training is so important to me and to not be able to do it killing me. My question is how do you work through an injury ? And if you can’t weight train at all what would you change so you don’t loose to much Progress and/or gain to much body fat ? More low intense cardio? Or change your diet? I am an endomorph and gain body fat very quickly. Also if you could show us some great stretches/exercises to help strengthen the lower back that would be great. Sorry for the long question/ story
ThankyouEmma Daws
ParticipantHey Nicole,
When you plan your work outs how do you structure them? Do you work from biggest muscle group to smallest etc?
Thank youEmma Daws
ParticipantHey Nicole
My question is do you do cardio everyday?
I currently in a building phase ( getting ready for my first show in September 2017)
And my trainer recommendeds I basically cut cardio out.
So wanting to know during off season how much cardio do you do and do You find it helps keep fat gain to a minimal?Emma Daws
ParticipantHey Nicole
I am finding that I struggle with binge eating. I will tell my self ok on this day I will have a certain meal and that will be it. But then I just eat and eat and don’t stop even when I am full I keep going. Have you ever struggled with this and if so how have you over come it?Emma Daws
ParticipantHey Nicole,
Another calorie/macro question! ( you must get sick of these)
I am 27 weigh 66kg and 167cm I training cardio 6 days mostly interval and circuit and maybe one day of HIIT a week and weights 5 days legs, back , shoulders chest and arms and either do back or legs twice and incorporate abs in two – three times. I am trying to stick to 1500 cals a day but I do binge at night. Am I not eating enough and am I training to hard? I feel if I drop the cardio I will gain weight back and that is a huge fear for me and I hate being hungry. My macros are what my fitness pal automaticity adjusts and I do try to weigh and measure everythingEmma Daws
ParticipantI would like to know as well, I am having a breast augmentation and abdoplasty and recovery is the same 6 weeks, i am worried about fat gain as I have a big appetite as it is.
