Thanks Nicole! I have been eating egg whites, oatmeal and blueberries for meal 1 & 4. I will change that up from now on. None the less, I am really happy with my results, I and am loving everything about your challenge!

I thought I read we could eat any one of the 12 meal choices. That’s what I’ve been doing with great results so far.

That is a great accomplishment, Alicia! When I think back to 2010, I was determined to do everything I could to look like a bodybuilder. I read everything that I could get my hands on, hired a trainer (I specifically hired one to train me like I was in a football camp,) and dug in with a passion. Nothing could stop me. I was determined. Probably a lot like you with cycling.
It definitely took a year before I saw significant muscle gain, but I definitely saw my body transforming and looking and feeling better then ever within eight weeks. Previous to bodybuilding, I was always a long distance runner. Running helped with maintaining weight, but the only body part that transformed, of course, was my quad muscle. I still had the thick waist.
    So, with that being said:
Patience and consistency and passion are the main things that I think is needed. It does take time. I do know that drinking a gallon of water per day made a difference for me. The gallon of water really kicked up my metabolism. Counting Macros never worked for me. The way Nicole and her team put this challenge together was exactly what I needed. This food plan, telling me exactly what to eat, is perfect for me.

I noticed you really have to read the labels on the marinara sauce. My local grocery store had several brands, but I could only find one with “no added sugar.”

I agree that age is just a state of mind. I am 56, and also did four figure competitions between the ages of 50 and 53. After that, I continued in the gym but started eating lots of sugary foods. I am so thankful for this challenge, it’s helping me get back to healthy eating habits. It’s also really exciting and fun! I love the support of all the challengers. Nicole and her team made this challenge so easy to follow. Can’t wait for Phase 2.

Thank you so much for your response. I am just so energized and excited about the changes that are and will happen by following the Challenge…just had to clarify on the refeed.

    Love everything about this challenge!!

In the nutrition plan, one of the suggestions for refeed is two sushi rolls. Does that mean two whole rolls? Each roll can have up to 6 pieces. Or just two pieces from a roll? Also, can it have sauce? Sorry for the questions…I am just a little nervous about the refeed. That is the hardest part when it comes to trusting the process.

Does anyone have the nPower Racerback tank? If so, how is the fit? Does it pull down over your hips or to waistline? Does it run true to size? I really want to get one.

I also agree that this is the best challenge. I have done others. They were good, but Nicole’s Challenge is so easy to follow and I am loving everything, especially the food plan. It’s written out exactly how I need it. Tell me what to eat and I am good to go!

I like Targets gym wear. It’s affordable, lasts long and fit good. When I feel like spending extra money…I like BootyQueen.

Does it need to be plain granola or is flavored ok? I haven’t bought any yet because there are so many choices in granola.

Are we allowed to use Stevia in our oatmeal? How about cinnamon? Can we use a seasoning blend like Mrs. Dash on our egg whites? So far, I have not used any.
