    Hey all!
I am a Law Enforcement Officer living in Colorado! This is my first Challenge, and I’m super excited about it! Day one was great; however, cardio was a little rough, but I’ll get there!

I had no clue either! My husband was helping me last night and it came to that, and he looked at me with a very confused look on his face and said “As Many Reps As Possible” I told him, “OH! That makes sense!” We had a good laugh about that one!

Thank you Maureen! I did the best I could with the Step Mill HIIT program last night (good thing no one was around to see that disaster!) But I did what I could and hoping to increase it to the full levels and time over time!

I have struggled with knee issues since I was 16 years old (artificial bone placement, tendon replacements, etc), and I cannot keep making excuses/letting it hold me back any more! I started in a place where I couldn’t even do an elliptical and I pushed through that, focusing on one day at a time and setting mini goals (add 1 minute or 30 seconds each day); I also couldn’t do leg presses but I’m up to over 160 pounds on that too (may not sound like much but it’s a huge accomplishment for me). So Ladies (and Gents), my reason for stating this is simply, listen to your body and don’t be afraid to push a little harder; you can overcome ANYTHING you set your mind to! Good luck!!!

Is this the case if you’re working out around 5 pm? First meal around 5:30/6 am?

Quick question on when to eat the meals….. I work 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and go to the gym @ 5:00; would I eat meal 5 AFTER my workout/post workout meal, or should I schedule it to where I eat meal 5 BEFORE workout? If this is already stated somewhere, I’m sorry for the clarification needed…. I just really want this program to work!

I can’t do running either due to 3 reconstructive knee surgeries; so I was wondering the same thing.

    Hey all!

I’m a 34 year old, wife to a wonderful man who’s currently fulfilling his bucket list goal of his first body building competition in June (yeah no pressure there!); and a step-mom to two beautiful girls. I work full time at a desk job. I have been training (weight lifting and cardio) with my husband since last August and have lost 30 pounds so far. I have been at a plateau since December and haven’t been able to lose an ounce since! I am hoping this Challenge will really kick my rear into shape and get me over this hump. I’m really wanting to reach my goal, not so much as pounds lost, but overall shape and sizes down before I take my husband on a surprise Caribbean vacation for his 40th birthday in July! He’s worked so hard (over 70 pounds of body fat lost) and I’m so proud of him; and even though I know he’s proud of me for the dedication and success I have had so far, I really want to push harder and look AWESOME in a 2 piece in the Caribbean!!!! LOL

So, let’s start day one off strong and push through! We can all do ANYTHING for 45 days!!!! (and keep it up there after!)

@Rhonda, We completed our usual Costco run yesterday too! I love buying in bulk for my veggies and proteins, especially since it’s the right quantity for me and my husband for the week!! Don’t be nervous, YOU’VE GOT THIS GIRL!!!!

@Lee, The elevated calories and carbs is a lot for me too, but I’m excited for the carb cycling….. I’ve been stuck at the same point for 5 months now, eating the same thing everyday, and getting no where, so I’m excited to try something new!!! Breakfast was hard for me, because that was a lot of food (from what I’m used to) but with the HIIT cardio, I’m excited!!!!

Very excited to start today!!! I have been at a plateau since December! I’ve lost approximately 30 pounds but can’t move past that. I’m really hoping this will help get me over this hump and help me reach my goal! Especially since I’m taking my husband on a surprise Caribbean vacation in July for his 40th birthday!!!! Unfortunately I just found out that I have to have surgery next Monday, of course perfect timing! ? But I can’t let another thing set me back! I just won’t!! ?
