I had to take a few weeks off from lifting from battling a bad cold and awful sleep- I have been trying to work on my sleep and nutrition. I just continued where I left off- its frustrating for sure- but its life- just keep going- this is a life long plan and lifestyle ๐
jennbley79ParticipantI usually struggle with my eating when I get home from work around 4.. I am a PE teacher during the day and once I get home, thats when I struggle with binging and eating all the things.. I have recently started eating my dinner at 4:00 when I get home- my biggest meal of the day instead of having a snack when I get home. and so far so good. Then I eat my snack later in the evening.
jennbley79ParticipantDid you ever get a response on this? I just emailed now about this coz I am using expired protein powder . TY
jennbley79ParticipantFood exchange list is wonderful!!! I decided to try 1 new recipe a week and then the other meals are things I already have and can use with the exchange list- that way I keep it fresh and new each week ๐
jennbley79ParticipantI decided to just skip the 5th workout each week and focus on the first 4 strength workouts. That works better for my schedule and allows me to do cardio/ walk my dog/ other stuff I like to do without feeling overwhelmed. You gotta do what fits best for you and something you can stick with ๐
jennbley79ParticipantI plan to freeze the chili whatever I have leftover after a few days. I made double the batch
jennbley79ParticipantI would be curious too. I have some of those tubs with the same expiration and have been using them
jennbley79ParticipantFrom my understanding, on non weight training days meal 5 would be at the end of the day.
jennbley79ParticipantIโm not a fan of ricotta cheese and it usually upsets my stomach. Can I sub it for cottage cheese instead ? I know it will change the macros but the consistency will it work ?
jennbley79ParticipantTrust the process ๐
– 900 calories is way too low.
Eat Meal Plan 2 and see how it goes ๐jennbley79ParticipantIn phase 2, we can continue to take the Train prior to strength workouts and the Burn anytime during the day ( preferably morning coz of the caffeine ) correct?
jennbley79Participantthank you!
jennbley79ParticipantMeals can be swapped out :). So essentially you could eat the same meal 4 times a day ( not like you would want to ! Lol). But sometimes I end up eating the same meal twice in a day just coz itโs easy. In your case , Simply choose a meal that has a LP in it instead ๐
jennbley79ParticipantThese are great suggestions! Thanks! I was thinking the same thing . Going to try adding weights for the double crunch one ๐
jennbley79ParticipantI was wondering the same thing ! I also donโt have a food processor. But might just get one because there are other recipes I have seen before that use the food processor ..
jennbley79Participantsounds good! thank you!
jennbley79ParticipantThats tough- honestly- there is really no way to really stay 100 percent on plan when you go out.. you don’t know what kind of oil they cook their food in ( probably not very good ๐ I would save up and use 2 meals when you go out to give yourself some extra wiggle room. I would opt for chicken fajitas with corn tortillas- and then you can add your veggies as needed. Good luck:)
jennbley79ParticipantI would also suggest just going at your own pace- if you can only do 4 workouts in a week- just follow the calendar and know that you will be a little off from what the calendar says- but in my personal opinion, that is better than cramming everything into 4 days a week. It will just take you longer to complete the challenge- but remember this isn’t a sprint- its a new lifestyle ๐
jennbley79ParticipantI always do 6 oz of plain greek yogurt plus 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder= that will equal 1 LP- its soo good!
jennbley79ParticipantI ran out of time before I had to leave to work. I split up that workout and finished up the abs set the next day.
jennbley79ParticipantI used 1 1/3 scoop protein powder
jennbley79ParticipantYou know your body best. Personally, if I eat dairy, it makes me very bloated and ” blah” feeling- so I try to stay away from it. Thats the beauty of the food substitution list- swap it out for another similar food:)
jennbley79Participantcorrect
jennbley79Participantalways measure after
jennbley79ParticipantHeres the trick that I have learned over several challenges now..
I use a splash of water.. also I use a spatula to combine all the ingredients- then I put them in a silicone mini muffin tin and press down on it with the spatula ( I have a red silicone mini muffin tin off amazon). Since this recipe calls for 10, I actually end of making 20 mini ones and have 2 of them for each servings:) This works perfectly and so easy to eat them. Oh- and I place them in my deep freezer to harden quicker:) Hope this helps. -
