I guess I should’ve explained myself a little better lol.

I’m not supposed to lift heavy as far as squats, deadlifts, leg press or overhead pressing due to spinal issues.

Maybe in my mind….failing at 10 reps would be lifting a heavier weight on some exercises than I’d feel comfortable with due to my back.

When my doctor advised not to lift heavy, I guess I don’t know what that is! Because my “moderate” weights are considered heavy to most people lol.

I’m probably confusing you more 🤦🏼‍♀️. I also haven’t worked out in awhile and I fear if I lift what I could actually do 8-10 reps with, I would hurt myself (since I Haven worked out in so long).

I’ve definitely always been preached at to start with lighter weights when you start working out. Obviously, I trust Nicole but this has been beaten into my brain!!

It’s been 2 years from hell 🤪 I just don’t want to hurt myself or further injure my back after everything I’ve been through.

You may not know how to answer this hot mess of a question and that’s fine 🤣🤣🤣

Essentially, if I do not feel comfortable doing a particular movement for 8-10 reps, I can just increase my reps then? I will try my best not too. Just wanted a professional opinion ☺️

Stevia for sure! I also mixed in a little Waldens Farm Syrup and try mashing my berries. I may buy frozen next time bc it seems more “syrupy”.

As for the almond butter…..I didn’t like it in it either ? My new plan is to save the almond butter for later……extra on my mug cake!! ???

I’ve had a few people tell me at work (which is at a gym) that I have “diet brain” right now haha. It’s definitely something I see when people are dieting down for shows! Now it’s us ? You’re not alone ?

I had the same thoughts today too! I weighed myself this morning and was up a pound this week. It makes me sad because I’ve been HUNGRY during this phase lol. All of my cardio and workouts have been done. Nutrition has been 100% too. Hoping my end of week pictures later today tell a different story………

Good for you! And yes I like the 3 days of HIIT cardio. The next phase will be challenging to get all 5 days in! Plus the little bit of extra steady state ?. I also love the Proat Bars. They are delicious and easy to take with me if I’m rushing to work (which is always the case ?). Phase 2 seems like a lot more “recipe” cooking but I’m excited to try it out too. Just have to make it through the first week to see how it goes!!

Gretchen that is good news!! ??????

Roy that is AMAZING ?????. You have been working HARD for those 14 lbs ??. Everyone is at different levels so weight loss will be different for everyone. And I agree with the crazy diet part. I’ve tried quite a few myself…..keto, carb cycling, etc, but I can’t say I gave those all 100% lol. But I really like this one and my body is responding well to it.

Keep up the great work for sure!! ??????

Michael, sorry to hear! I live in Ohio and EVERYONE around me has been getting sick! It makes me nervous because as you know, we cannot afford to miss any days! Hope you get to feeling better soon.

I’m with ya on the weight. There are definitely other indicators besides the scale. Feeling less fluffy is a GOOD thing haha.

Rest up and do your best! Stay positive ??
