    My goals would be:
    * Lose some weight – 10 lbs
    * Get back on track – I had been a figure competitor and was so used to following a certain plan in food and workouts every day. Somewhere along the line, the workouts became inconsistent (however, I have managed to do at least 4 days a week), the food has been the issue. Feels like I don’t know how to eat right anymore
    * In my 60s, I need to get in more cardio to keep my cholesterol, endurance, etc. in check – AND, I ALSO AM NOT A FAN OF CARDIO 🙂 I get bored with it 🙂 With that said, I am COMMITTED to getting it done.
    * Want to feel good in shorts and a bathing suit, without questioning 🙂
    * And always, even though my children are all adults, I like to set an example for them.

    Hi everyone! I am 62 years old, competed in my first figure competition at 58 and did 3. Have been off track for the last year and am trying to get back on track. I am retired and live in northern NH. I have 3 grown children who live all over the country and between them, I have 7 grandchildren!

    I am always coming up with “pancakes”. I am going to mix the oat bran/oatmeal with the egg; saute the spinach in a skillet and then add in the oat egg mixture.

    I am excited as well. I needed a kick in the butt!!!. My concern is the cardio and the calories. You see ladies, I will be 63 in July! I have been fairly active and competed in 3 figure competitions starting at age 58. I haven’t competed for a while, had no idea if I wanted to. Lately though, I have been thinking about maybe next year. This past winter my husband was away in Micronesia with the Peace Corps, which was to be a year long volunteer. Winters are bleak and I was lonely. Thought I could manage my health and my weight. Well, I managed to at least continue my workouts for 3 – 4 days a week. My diet was way off though. So, when I saw this on Nicole’s page (I love Nicole and am so impressed with her on so many levels), I decided it was time to find something that was going to kick my butt. And, it looks like this is it. I am concerned about the amount of calories (some mental, but also physical because of my age), I know I am going to really have to kick up the cardio. I had run a few years ago, but it has been at least 2, so square 1 for me! Good luck to all you ladies, and guys, we can do it! We are all winners!!!!

    Stephanie, by just taking this first step, you are already winning!!!!! From here on out, you will continue to win. Have faith in yourself, do the best you can and trust the process. How can you not be a winner with that!!! You can do it!
