ParticipantLol….ok so if you look at the back of the oats nutrition. It days serving size 1/2 cup ( 40g);
Total fat 3g
Total carb 27g
Dietary fiber 4g
Soluble fiber 2 g
Protein 5gSo measured out 40g= 27g
So that’s why I’m confused do I measure 40 g dry which would= 27g OR 30g dry which would be 20 grams less to = 17g.

It’s WAY over the macros/ calories . We double everything as we get 2 servings, so it’s 150 g of avacado 226 g of cottage cheese and 4 pieces of Dave’s is in itself 480 calories and that’s not counting the avacado,( 150 g or cottage cheese 226 g)or cottage cheese.Please clarify 😊

ParticipantActually your response confused me even more, lol. I hate math😂. The recipe makes 4 servings, the plan calls for 1 1/2 so it should be 1 1/2 pancakes. Not sure how making more batter would allow for more pancake as it wouldn’t fit the macro count. My brain is hurting 😂😂. Shouldn’t be and I know I’m making it difficult, more than it probably is any ways🙄.

ParticipantHi Naomi, I may not have been very clear, sorry. I know how to do a lateral lunge, just curious if we do alternating or single leg with a cardio in between, it isn’t specified. Also on the first round it says to do alternating lunges on one form and the the other 4 rounds are lateral lunge. More curious if it’s alternating lateral or single leg with cardio in between. Thanks so much sorry for the confusion. 🙂

Ugh, would love to have someone video me, I workout alone and don’t know anyone that I could have do it but I will keep that in mind if the opportunity presents itself 🙂 I do feel as though I have good form but once I get to that 135pds I slightly feel it in the lower back and I focus on keeping my knees from going in BUT just don’t get quite low enough.
I actually looked at your video of the hack squat and the machine looks just like the one you are on so I am cool with that one-YAY…so excited to have found a gym with some great equipment AND it’s an Anytime Fitness. Clearly the owner of it is a bodybuilder—I felt like a kid in a candy store! 🙂 Thanks so much for all you do AWESOME challenges you put together!!!Kathy Carlin-Houle
ParticipantHello Ladies, Is it best to do squat with a heavier weight and not go below the knees or stay a bit lighter and go below the knees? I ask because I am a little afraid of hurting my back, (have issues with it and I do lift alone). I noticed that when I got to 135pds I couldn’t get down below the knees, just parallel. I did concentrate on squeezing the glutes as I came up but just didn’t get below the knees. Just wondering what you pros suggest… Also, I went to a new gym today and they had what looked to be a hack squat, it’s called a super squat Hammer Strength machine, you can stand faciing in, (toward machine) or out, (facing away from machine). Is this a Hack Squat and which way should one stand in or out for Saturday’s leg workout. I’m guessing out but want to make sure. Thanks a ton for your help! 🙂

ParticipantI am curious too. I made the french toast this morning and like it said in the instructions just quickly put the bread in and flip, then put in in pan to cook. Based on what I have read just put the rest of the milk mixture in with the 5 egg whites, (as we are to eat the remainder of the milk/egg mixture, it’s part of our macro count). Well my egg whites with the remainder of the mixture turned out really weird, plus I had put cinnamon in my mixture, it was super runny and had to cook it for a really long time–meh—didn’t really like it and will probably be sticking with the oatmeal and eggs for my first meal. Did I do something wrong? There is quite a bit of mixture left over since you don’t soak the bread in it. I used Ezekiel bread.
