    Naomi-I workout at 5:30am, do weights, then cardio. This 1st meal is a lot, what is the purpose of eating all of that prior to weights then cardio. I feel like I would be too full to workout plus have to go to the bathroom, which isn’t that big of a deal. I guess what I am asking/wondering is am I burning off muscle if I don’t eat that first meal or is it more for the fact of energy? I eat my shake/apple right after then wait about 2 hours and have my 1st meal, (oatbran, eggs/spinach and turkey). I look forward to hearing back from you on this and will follow your recommended advice. 🙂 Thanks so much! Kathy

    Hello! 🙂 I am from Minneapolis, MN. I was a personal trainer for 38yrs and decided to make a change 6 years ago when I turned 50. Fitness has and will always be a very important part of my life. I now work for my brother as a project coordinator, working from home, which I love. I did the 60 day challenge and loved it. Had brain surgery literally the following week after it was over, (benign tumor removed). I am doing great and have been working out basically a week after my surgery—but not at the intensity I am used to. I still have to keep it reigned in a bit, some of the HIIT cardio I have to be careful with and can’t lift quite as heavy as I would like to BUT I am ok with that. Nicole and her staff are great, I love her programs. Don’t worry about the quantity of food—you will see results if you follow it to the T. Go get it ladies! 🙂 Kathy

    Thanks Jodi! 🙂 My co-op labels them as sweet potatoes and had said that they are truly a sweet potato and the orange ones are yams., I like the texture of the white, (yellowish) ones better than the orange. Appreciate your help!! Two more weeks—been a great challenge, I have loved the workouts!

    Hi Ladies! I know it is late in the program to ask this question but was wondering if the sweet potato real sweet potato (which is the whiter) is what we are supposed to be using. The yams are orange. Just wondering if it matters for the program? I have been using the “sweet potato” whiter one. Thanks much! Loving the program and feeling great in and out of the gym!!!! 🙂

    I am eating the cakes and shake as well…and I believe Nicole, (or one of the experts) had said to. post- cardio accel workout.

    I sooooo miss the protein pancakes with tablespoon of pbutter–trying to figure out how I can have that for last meal-LOL. I force broccoli down and the zuccini (sp?) too. I am starving by 2 hours so metabolism is kicked in, which is a good sign! Keep at it ladies!! 🙂

    I can’t even figure out how to work the app–meaning enter my food in. Too frustrating so I just have been logging on paper and hoping all is good with measuring and weighing!?!? I even upgraded to the 50.00–feeling dumb-LOL!

    Hi Janet, I am a participant as well but thought I would ad my 2 cents. 🙂 Sorry for your stress!! I would think that it is ok–I had to do the same thing. It makes for a tough workout but you ca do it. You do what you can to adjust to what life’s unexpectancy’s (sp) bring us, right!? In my humble opinion you will be fine. Don’t let this add to your stress! 🙂

    Hey There! I have the same issue, so should ideally we eat meal 1 before we do our workout early in the morning. I am doing weights then cardio–(this works best in my schedule) than after have my post-meal? Thanks so much!! 🙂

    Hello,

    I am actually confused as to how to ask question on the forum so hopefully this gets answered. Are we to take protein powder before bed every night? I know after weight training days but just want to be sure on the every night or not. Thanks Much
