Of course the stomach bug has found our house, so I have been in the bathroom or in the bed the last 2 days. Definitely not the way I wanted to start this challenge. I am determined not be discouraged by this, but wondering if I should start tomorrow as my day one and use today and Monday as my off days? I am so disappointed to start like this!!

    Thanks,
    Beth

Hi Beth! I just wanted to say I hope you feel better soon. I always adjust the workouts to meet my schedule. My days can sometimes be crazy busy with work and 3 kids. I prefer to do my workouts on the weekend since my husband is home to help. I usually take Wednesday off during the middle of the week and use Sunday as my other rest day to food prep. Whatever works best for you! I say listen to your body and jump in when you feel better/stronger. 🙂 Good luck with the challenge!

I know, I need to not weigh…because I am literally the same weight for the last three weeks. I discouraged that’s all 🙁

Angela, have you been taking weekly progress pics? My scale weight has remained the same but I’m seeing huge changes in body composition! The scale doesn’t always paint a clear picture. Sharing my experience in case it helps! 🙂

Thank you very much Naomi! It’s just that time of year with the weather being wonky (snow one day, rain, then sun). I’m hoping I will be good in a couple of days. It’s a relief to hear I don’t have to eat as much because I don’t have much of an appetite at the moment. I’m keeping my protein intake up though. I appreciate your fast response!

    Hi Lisa!
Nice to meet you 🙂 I haven’t been very active on the forums and mostly check out Facebook. This is my first Nicole Wilkins Challenge and I’m loving it so far! I’m 42 years old, married with 3 kids (18, 16 and 7). I gained a solid 20lbs during covid that I would like to get off. I’ve been working remotely from home for the past year and have struggled with being consistent in taking care of myself. This program is helping me get back on track and be accountable 🙂

I hope you’re having a great day! Happy Easter 🐣

Oh I like the idea of combining the last two meals. That’s an excellent idea Dessie. Thank you 🙂 I don’t think my brother will guilt me and my husband is supportive but he will sometimes say the same like “it’s just one meal, go for it!” I have a hard time though that once I start it’s difficult to stop. Good for you speaking up for yourself to your brother! I’m going to use your idea about the meals 🙂 Thank you for the support!

I went on Facebook and saw everyone posting about doing the workout despite feeling sore so I pushed ahead and did it. I told myself if I felt like I couldn’t go on after completing the warmup I could stop but I had to at least TRY. I feel much better today and it wasn’t as bad as I thought 🙂 A lot of it was bodyweight only and the lunges weren’t quite as deep and low as they could be but I got it done! I love this challenge for the accountability and pushing me. 🙂 It’s exactly what I need!

Me!! It legit hurts to sit down and get up. I’m wondering if I have enough in me to try to do the lower body workout today or if I should rest today and do it tomorrow?

Hi Nicole! Im new here since just before Christmas and just want to say how much I love your site. 🙂 I just finished watching one of your videos where you did push ups after every working set! I want to work my way up to being able to do push ups but I find them very hard on my wrists. Is there something I can do to help this? I feel confident my form is correct, even if I try to do push ups from my knees my wrists feel in pain. I’m 37 years old and have never suffered any wrist injuries in the past. I weight train 4 days a week and have lost over 115 lbs. Im hoping to learn new things from you as a member of your site. Thank you 🙂

Hi Ranny 🙂 I have the Polar M400 and you have to buy the sensor in order to get the heart rate reading! Hope this helps. 🙂
