    Don’t be afraid to ask how many sets they have left. Most guys/women will just tell you and also let you know if there is someone after them already. Guys in my gym let me work in or come find me on their last set. It’s also a way to meet people (I also workout alone) to be able to ask for a spotter when you need it. 🙂

    Thanks, Maureen! I wrote that as I plopped down on a bench and the end of leg day. I’m pushing through it. I have a show I want to do in fall and I can’t give in now.

    I’m just sore and not in any really pain and getting right back at it. I may not be able to get down stairs later, but I’m giving it a go.

    This week has been fun and was surprised how easy it was to slide back into meal prep after stopping several years ago. I’m looking forward to seeing how I change week to week.

    Also the “dead bugs” live up do their name. I look ridiculous as I do them and have to stop myself from laughing while fighting through. 🙂
