Hi Maureen! I definitely like more food! It was satisfying but sometimes I wasn’t hungry. I definitely want to lose some bodyfat with this challenge, maybe lose about 8-10 lbs, but not mess up my metabolism that ive been working on.

Kathy HowleyParticipantIt’s just adrenal support over the counter supplements. It’s not medication so I dont think there should be side effects. I’m just hoping it will help with weight loss.

Kathy HowleyParticipantMy body is just sensitive to carbs. I’ve been doing good around 114g right now. Do you think jumping up to 170g would affect me?

Kathy HowleyParticipantIm eating pretty clean. This is my current diet:
Preworkout: 1 scoop of Whey protein
Post work out: 3 plain rice cakes & 1 scoop of Whey proteinMeal 1: 1/2 cup oatmeal & 5 egg whites
Meal 2: 4oz grilled chicken 1 cup of green vegetables & 1/2 cup brown rice
Meal 3: 4 oz grilled chicken 1 cup green vegetables
Meal 4: 4 oz ground turkey 1 cup vegetables
Meal 5: 1 scoop Whey protein & 15 almondsI also weight trying 5-6 days a week with the 6 days of 1 hour cardio. So what do u think I’ve been doing wrong not to see anymore resuLtd anymore and do u think I’ll see good results with this challenge?

Kathy HowleyParticipantMaureen hi. I usually do cardio at 5am then strength training at 6am. Should I eat meal one after cardio then do the post workout after strength training then meal 2 about 9 so I can fit all my meals in?

I wanted to switch it up and add a little running for my cardio. Do u think I wiLl lose the booty I’ve worked hard for??

Kathy HowleyParticipantHi Nicole! I just did my 1st figure competition and won 1st in masters and novice! I thought I looked good but still have some work. What is your suggestion as far as losing the lower part of your abs? It tends to stick out no matter what I do. Do you think it has something to do with my diet?

Im a figure competitor and I wanted to know what your opinion is about breaking up cardio. Do u think (2) 30 min sessions is better to do then a 1 hour session for trying to lose more bodyfat for a competition?

I’m currently training for a figure competition. I’ve done about 5 bikini competitions in the past. I’m 5’1 131 and have alot of muscle. I train 6 days a week and do cardio 7 days a week for 45 mins a day. I m eating really clean but I feel like I’m at a plateau. The scale is not moving nor do I look like I’m getting leaner. It is so frustrating. Do u have any suggestions on what I should do? I’m currently 9 weeks out.
