At level 62, in best shape ever! Diagnosed T1D 30+ years back and bc survivor for 12 years, after chemo, rad, double mastectomy, reconstruction and total lapro hysterectomy. Reached over 200lbs, then at the encouragement of my wonderful daughter, Maurisa Fadness, started working out. Down over 50lbs and keeping it off thanks to Nicole and team!

My daughter looked at recap and noticed protein for eggs looked low. She recommended using different one on MFP. Tweaked meal plan; removed almond butter, adjusted eggs, reduced triscuits. Came up with plan below.

1 – Eggs/Oats/Almond Butter
2 – Eggs/Rice (post workout)
3 – Cucumber Salad/Chicken/Red Potato/Macadamia Nuts
4 – Ground Turkey/Carrots/Hummus/Triscuits
5 – Ground Beef/Broccoli/Sweet PotatosPut individual ingredients into MFP and come up with:
139 carbs
61 fats
128 proteinBeen measuring eggs 1.1 cups for both egg meals.
If I cut out the Almond Butter & Macadamia Nuts and increase eggs to 1.5 cups, get the following:
141 carbs
43 fats
154 proteinTwo questions:
1 – Please confirm correct macros for total days meals, as I’ve chosen.
2 – How can I bring protein up and stay at the recommended macros, for Phase 3?Thanks you,

ParticipantGeeze! I was worried about need to take Wednesday, not Thursday, next week for rest day. Been chasing tail trying to figure out if I should do high carb on Wednesday and train Thursday, or not. Will stick to Naomi’s advice and keep low/high carb days as written.

Didn’t explain my situation.
Insulin dependent diabetic.
Sometimes get caught off guard and bs drops to 50 or below. When that happens, need to treat with glucose. Fructose seems to work too.
Wondering if I have to use, if I should count carbs in joice and reduce from next meal and if juice is better choice. Airhead candy seems to work best (2 usually @ 15 carbs each)Lisa

ParticipantToday was my first leg day, in phase 2, as my schedule is varied due to work. Took over two hours to get through with cardio and legs. Think I discovered some muscles, tendons and ligaments I didn’t know existed before! L? L!

ParticipantLOL! Thank you for advice Nicole! Went back to gym, this morning, tried three times and rolled out every time. ??? Came home and tried with my large exercise ball on carpet. Put arms way out and kept feet farther apart. Able to get through 4 sets of 15. Will try what you recommend next week.
