If I train at 4 or 5 pm would it be more beneficial to have my high carb days on Tuesday and Friday?

loriParticipantYou divide it by 6 and the other sides in that meal option make up the remainder of the macros.
loriParticipantI use stevia and different extracts. My favorites are vanilla and almond extract. The almond extract taste like wedding cake. Game changer. They have cake batter extract, banana extract, you name it!
loriParticipantIn the other challenge I did it said (rest-pause) in parenthesis when you were supposed to do it. It appears to be the same this time. So you would only do the rest-pause when it is stated.
loriParticipantIt is just a different way to split the exercises. Excercises where you pull like pulling on a lat bar are done on the same days where excercises that you push like laying down to push the weights up for bench press are done on other days. So they put pull excercises together and push excercises together. I’m sure that could be explained better but I tried. Lol.
LoriloriParticipantI am used to lifting the heaviest weight I can for the desired reps. The problem I have with trying to pyramid and increase the weights is that the weight I just lifted for 15 reps during the first set is now the weight I am reaching failure on rep 12 during the second set and I may only be able to lift it 10-12 times on the third set so I am not able to increase the weight. If I were not supersetting the weights then I could but because of the supersets and trisets my muscles are fatiguing faster. Am I doing something wrong?

loriParticipantI see some big changes happening! I can especially tell that your waist is smaller. That is the first thing that is smaller for me too. Keep up the hard work. You are looking good.

loriParticipantThanks for explaining. That makes a lot of sense. So if after the challenge we still have fat to lose where would we go from there? How long would it be ok to stay in the cutting phase of phase 2?
loriParticipantI lost 3 right away then 2 more since then but hasn’t really moved in a week. I understand phase 1 is for muscle building but I think the difference is 1544 calories ( meal plan 1) is less than I have been eating and I usually do very little cardio so this does create a deficit for me. If you are used to eating close to the calories that you are eating now then that may not be a deficit for you and that may be why some people are losing and not others. Just my opinion but I’m not the expert. lol

loriParticipantI also get hungry after dinner. I have not cheated but worry it will just get harder. I try not to worry about it and just think, I can do this today. Then I say it every day!
loriParticipantI looked at the classic hummus and the red pepper hummus ( Sabra) and the nutritional information was exactly the same.

loriParticipantMine comes up 285?? Actually, none of my calories come up the same but by the end of the day, they are very close all together so I don’t worry too much about it. I might be short about 30 calories but I am eating exactly what is on plan 1. I’m 5’2.

loriParticipantAfter back day last week, my triceps were so sore from the seven sets of DB pullovers. The next day was triceps. I worked them anyway but maybe not as heavy as I would have. I have the same question. Not sure if what I did was the right thing to do.
loriParticipantI absolutely love Victoria Secret’s High rise knockout pants. They stay in place and aren’t see through. They hold up well too. Right now they have a special. $55 dollars for the pants (normally 70) and sports bras are usually 30 and up.
loriParticipantI’m getting hungry too but it is bearable. I like to stay up late, so I get hungry but I keep telling myself that it is fat melting off!
