    Hi there,
I read your write up of what you are going through. Congratulations on being strong and pushing through these hurdles. My husband was a weightlifter for years and one day got the ‘hiccups’ where they didn’t stop. 10 years later he still has them. His life deteriorated even though we both remain faithful to the gym routine. I feel so horrible for him having to suffer day in and day out. He gets no reprieve, and has to take lots of medication which he absolutely hates. The worst part of it all is he looks normal(with the exception of having lost weight because he can’t eat much without the hiccups getting out of control).
You will get through these next few weeks and be back to what you love in no time.
Thanks for keeping us honest in that we all have our own challenges.
Look forward to hearing when you’re back.

I truly believe our bodies are trying to adjust to the workouts and meals. I think it’s fair to give is some more time, keep being strict and keep up the training.

Today, although I have not dropped anyth My this week, it’s the first time I can see the drastic changes in my shape. It’s unteal. So for that alone, I hope it is enough to keep my going.

Don’t give up. We got this.

Thank god it’s not just me. I will say I feel different, much tighter and less full(if that makes sense). I don’t think I’m holding as much water. So I feel different, there’s no doubt. But why the heck can’t the weight come off. And im doing fat burners too.

I’m wondering if I just haven’t given it enough time yet and maybe my body is just holding onto muscle and preserving everything. As the same with you, my diet has always been clean, I have only adjusted it to the meal plan of this program.

Let me know how things go for you. I’m interested in seeing how we do overall. I’ll let you know too if anything changes with me

I wonder if you can help me get out of my rage of anger right now. I am not dropping a pound. I go up 1/2 a pound and go down 3/4 of a pound then up 1 pound etc. I don’t get it. My diet has been followed to your plan. The only thing is I don’t always eat the meal # 4. The reason being is I train after work (4:30) for about 2 hours. I might get a couple of things from the store, then home. I will have a protein shake, then rest because I am exhausted lol. The cardio I am doing I have changed it more for me as I don’t run (want to preserve my knees) and I have poor tendons in both my feet so my feet suffer later. So I do the bike and I am pushing myself every day. I have increased the level I am riding at, and will do 3 minutes of fast increased pace with a 1 minute rest and do it again. I do that with a 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down for a total of 30-35 minutes. Every day I increase and push myself. I’m full body sweat.

What is going on with me. I don’t add any extra into my diet. I don’t cheat eat and I don’t get cravings. I take a fat burner and I take L-carnitine. I also put MCT oil in my protein shake.

I’m stumped. This has been my issue for such a long time. I am 219 right now and 48 years old. I am solid. I have fat but I am not a sloppy fat. I have been power lifting for years. I just feel like my body is hanging onto everything. Ugh. I’m so frustrated.

Do you have any suggestions ?

It’s so hard for all of us. If it were easy we wouldn’t need this challenge. It’s nice to hear of the struggles of others. You don’t feel so alone.

To avoid any problems, I eat my one meal before checking in, and get water on the other side before boarding. If I have time, before my flight I will go to a food outlet and get a salad and chicken breast or something to simulate what my premade meal would be. I am usually able to get by until I land at the other end.

Well if it’s any consolation, I stuck to everything in my plan for week 1(including went to live theatre and had to make my tuna wrap in the middle of the street before going in) although altered the cardio to better suit my weight and height as I am much heavier than most(but kept the cardio hard and intense with lots of sweating) and I lost, but not as much as I would like to have seen. I can’t understand how I can be so clean with diet, taking supplements, and a fat burner, tons of cardio and the weight comes off so slowly. I am really hoping my metabolism kicks in real soon.

So I look at other participants comments and see that we all have our own struggles. To those that had a rough day yesterday or other, keep going strong and keep focused. Baby steps

It is a little complicated each time to go into the program. So here’s what I do:

I make sure I am logged in.

Then I tap on Nicole Wilkins name.

Then when that new page comes up part way down it show the different challenges. I select the buns and guns.

At that point I am able to see all of it.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to this. I can’t tell you enough of how this has helped me. For example, I was doing cardio about an hour ago and feeling just drained but in comes a reply and that was perfect timing. Thanks for that.

Mavis, this week I was out with some friends( on Monday….I’m in Canada too but celebrated thanksgiving on Sunday and started this Monday), but made my food and brought it with me when I was out. I felt better than asking myself if I should eat when they ate. I just said ‘no thanks, I already ate’, and then they asked me to go over for supper after. I refused. I had to work the next day and told them I had too much to do. It felt great to have stuck to my plan. I have events tonight and Sunday and already have it planned. Tonight I will have eaten and won’t even go there. I think it’s a power thing for me. It makes me feel better to say no thanks when offered. If nothing else I feel good that I have committed. Many times people will joke and mock me because I take my meals but I just feel better eating clean. It’s so worth it.

Keep up the great work everyone. You are what keeps me going.

Just go to your search bar at the top when you’re reading your newsfeed(you might have to pull the page down for that bar to appear) and type in Nicole Wilkins….you’ll see it come up.

I do the tea thing at night too. It really helps me. I buy special flavored tea; ie. ginger spice and make it a treat to myself.

I was ready to quit this at the day 2 or 3 of the cardio. All I could think was I will never be able to run for 1 minute at an 8% incline at a level 9. And that is probably true. But I can’t give up. The nutritional part is not a problem but I need to adjust my cardio to where I am pushing myself and not killing myself. The interval works great and I sweat tons. I’m just trying to stay positive and push myself more than I did before. Not confident that the weight loss is going to happen. My body is just stubborn. But I am going to keep pushing through this.

I do the donkey kicks in replacement. I make sure to squeeze extra at the top. I felt it that’s for sure

Thanks for that boost. Eating clean and sticking to a plan is definitely not an issue for me. I just have a heck of a time losing weight.

I have done the workouts for day 1 and 2 so far and loved them. The cardio on day 1 was good…I can get through it but today’s cardio was much harder for me. So I improvised a bit keeping my heart rate up. If nothing else I feel great. Quite a difference from lifting heavy.

My goal is to lose some weight, and gain more definition via losing fat.

I will keep going. Thanks again for the motivational talk.

Hey. I’m nervous just like you. Although my biggest challenge is speeding up my metabolism as I have weight to lose. My diet is easy to keep clean. Just looking forward to the challenge. Have fun with it. What’s the worst that can happen. Lol

Hi there. Under the HIIT cardio it shows for the incline to success shows the cycle to be done for 10 rounds. Not sure if I understand as each round is 6.5 minutes long this would be way over e0 minutes of cardio. Please help. Thanks
