ParticipantI’ve cooked them all kinds of ways. Boil in baggies (throw in pot of boiling water), bake in muffin pan, cook in a pan in coconut oil or spray oil. My favorite is just throwing them in a pan and scrambling. I also eat them hard boiled with horseradish..yumm.

ParticipantI can’t tolerate whey protein either. So, Vega works really well for me and so does Plant Fusion. Both products are low in carbs. You will need to adjust your overall carb intake if the protein has a few extra g here and there. Try plant based protein. Whey isolate tends to be easier on the gut but some folks still have issues.

ParticipantHi everyone, well, decided to sign up last minute so am catching up! I live in Illinois in the Chicago area and am a senior leader in healthcare. I have a stressful job and packing my meals is crucial! Also teach at a state university part time. I’m 43 and have 3 kids and 1 grandchild. I have competed many moons ago in bodybuilding. Have been working out regularly for over half of my life. Chronically under eating lead to my body holding on to every stinking calorie. I’m also a runner and I love to lift. Been blessed with a body that holds on to muscle so I’ve been able to do both pretty successfully. Running Chicago marathon this fall…woohoo. This will be my 36th race. Good luck everyone and have fun!

ParticipantHi, I have digestive issues and have a very hard time tolerating most popular whey products. This all began for me about 10 years ago at the end of my competitive bodybuilding streak. My body just flipped out one day and I haven’t been able to drink regular protein shakes since despite me trying most popular brands. Love Vega protein. I can recommend a few others. If you can find goat whey isolate that seems to be okay. Most vegan shakes including Hemp are okay as well. Nothing tastes as good as whey shakes but that doesn’t matter at this point. No protein bars for me either which is a good thing because they’re so processed anyways.
