Maybe I missed it but is there any confirmation from Nicole (or team) on how much frozen cauliflower to use in the recipe if we can’t find fresh? Thanks!

Skim milk also has 8-12 gram of protein depending on the brand you buy where Almond Mile generally only has 1. Skim milk also generally has more than double the calories of Almond Milk (80-90 vs 30-35). Hope that helps.

Hi! Were you able to find out anything regarding the second part of her question regarding the training videos? When you click on the video and watch it and then try to go back to the work out it actually takes you back to the beginning of the e-book and you have to start all over to find the day and the exercise you were looking at in the first place. It didn’t used to be that way in the old format. It used to go right back to the work out you were looking at.

I used my mixer but it didn’t firm up into a mousse. Was still very liquidy. Maybe the food processor adds more air to it and thickens it up. I will try that next time. I had to add a little bit xanthem gum to thicken it up. 🤷‍♀️

The recipe for the protein bars says 12 servings. Is that a typo in the recipe? Above you said two divided into 8 even pieces. Just wondering if I should cut into 12 per the recipe or 8 as stated above.

    Thanks

Thank you for the clarification Nicole. I actually found fresh non-GMO pitted dates at Walmart yesterday if anybody is still looking For them. And actually the size of them 10 dates does equal close to 250 g. These are perfect.

I found these yesterday at Walmart in the isle that had other dried dehydrated or freeze dried fruits. They also fit Nicole’s estimate of 10 dates being approximately 250 g.

Hi! Couple questions on the protein bar recipe.
    1. Should we use sweetened or unsweetened coconut flakes?
    2. Never heard of almond flakes. Does it maybe mean slivered almonds, sliced almonds…does it matter? Since recipe calls for 75g
total of some form of almond can we just go with what we have on hand?
    3. Finally…I think someone else asked about the dates as well. Recipe says 250g (about 10) but 250g is way more than 10. Can
    you please clarify?

    Thanks so much!

IMO…It’s only a 1/4 of a cup of milk in the entire recipe. Yes a quarter of a cup of almond milk has fewer calories and less protein than a 1/4 cup of regular milk. But at the end of the day you’re only having a 1/4 of the whole quiche for a single serving. The difference is so insignificant It’s not gonna make or break it. I used plain unsweetened almond milk and it came out just fine.

I am using the Bob’s Red Mill oat flour. Just skipping the step of grinding the oats myself. We’ll see how it turns out! 🤞

I’m using the rest of the cabbage to sub in for the cauliflower ( Per the exchange list) until the cabbage is gone.

That has been corrected. You might need to refresh your e-book.

Just made the cabbage rolls as directed and let me tell you it’s a lot of work! Won’t do it this way again and was already planning to go to the casserole direction divided by 10. I’m also prepping the remainder of the cabbage because all the meal plans include extra veggies i.e. cauliflower and or zucchini. I don’t see why I can’t sub out the cauliflower with the extra cabbage until it’s gone. I hate to waste it.

Just curious if it was recently refreshed. I just refreshed my e-book on Friday (8/7) and that meal in meal plan 1 & 2 are exactly the same. Meal plan 3 however does have 100 g of blueberries plus additional almond butter

Can you use a different nut besides walnuts in this recipe? Almonds or pecans possibly? I cannot eat walnuts.

Only way I get the macros to come even close to what’s listed in the plan is using 1 oz of almonds not one cup. With 1 oz of almonds I come up with 242 cal, 13 fats, 3 carbs and 27 prot per serving. I have the upgraded MFP and it’s usually pretty accurate.

I was just wondering the exact same thing. The high-protein avocado toast recipe calls for two slices of toast and meal 3 calls for one recipe of high protein avocado toast which already includes two slices of toast plus one more slice of whole wheat bread in the meal plan. So makes it sound like three slices of bread.
