    In case it helps anyone else–
    I did the conversion of cups to grams on the protein powder, since I personally measure everything in grams. The scoop that comes in the tub says its 70cc, which is .2959 cups/scoop. At 26 grams per scoop, 1-1/3 cup comes out as 117 grams for the recipe. Or 4.5 scoops, if you prefer that unit.

    My favorite is always Meijer; they seem to have good quality foods/options for more reasonable prices than Kroger. (Though I do like Kroger’s chicken breast better.) I ordered my preferred coffee from Amazon once, too. Life is too short to drink crappy coffee. The stores have been pretty well stocked here in Michigan, lately. Where are you?

    Grilling is definitely always the best, but if that’s not a good option for you, sometimes I’ll cut it up into chunks and simmer it in a covered pan for 1.5-2 hours on very low heat. It will start to soften back up with the low and slow approach. Just make sure to add some water if it happens to cook it all off to keep from drying it out.
    Adding some veggies (peppers, especially!) towards the end and a little extra water, then thickening it and serving over rice is one of my go to things normally. I haven’t looked into the use of thickeners for this challenge though.
