Participanthi there, it means 5 ounces of steak, the exchange is an even exchange. If it had said (1 FP) then the 4 oz. would have applied, so the 1/4 is 1/4 of 4 ounces added to the 1 FP (4 ounces)…..it takes awhile to figure but you will catch on.

Participantit can be done, I am diabetic. My sugar levels are actually on the low side when I follow the plan….there is lots of activity so sugar levels are maintained effortlessly. If I think I need more carbs in a certain meal, I just switch up veggies with carbs but always maintain the carbs, veggies, proteins and everything else for the day. I sometimes even do fasted cardio, depending on the training, I do that fasted sometimes too depending on work schedules. With this PSR plan however, I am not doing training fasted, its a little bit intense for me……

Participantare you diabetic? I am and if my morning blood sugar is under 100, my doc advised me to NOT workout…during this challenge it has frequently been in the 80s, which actually is good but dangerous for an extensive workout so either I treat it and do a light workout OR switch my day to a rest day but continue on the meal plan, yes it throws the schedule off but I wanna live first….:)

Participantmorning, I woke up to do legs, I am on day 3 of the challenge, I had to start late on the challenge. Unfortunately, my sugar was low, I am a diabetic so I have to train later this evening. My question is after I treat my low sugar, usually with a fig bar or juice, I know there is extra macros that are involved….can I eliminate or lighten anything from the plan, and if I can, where should I start that, the proteins or carbs portions? I am not familiar with trying to balance out macros but want to learn. I am happy my sugar was low however i just can’t train till later in the day, any advice on the macros would be helpful. thank you…
