ParticipantNaomi, can I email anyone about this error? I really don’t think I’m able to
Upload today. I would have planned everything differently if the date I received in the email earlier this week and the post from a moderator didn’t state tomorrow at 11 pm eastern was the deadline. Thanks and let me know.
RoyK
ParticipantI was planning on uploading everything tomorrow because I’m traveling today and received the email saying it was tomorrow and also ready on this forum earlier this week that the deadline was tomorrow at 11pm eastern. This could be a big issue for me since I’m in airports and on the road all day.

ParticipantMy only complaint about this challenge is how social media centered just about everything is. As a private person with no social media, it’s definitely been noticeable being excluded from weekly contests and all. Oh well….
RoyK
ParticipantHey I’m done with the challenge and took my after pics yesterday holding up yesterday’s newspaper without thinking about it like I did the before. Is that ok in place of the hashtag again? Just making sure.

ParticipantMichaell,
I’ll say that I am traveling to a conference in Oshkosh Wisconsin next Thursday through Sunday and I have decided to check a bag, buy good tupperware, and bring meals.A question for People who compete and do this type of thing because you need to stay good with diets when traveling, do you have any issues ever doing this? I’ll be packing meats and veggies aka the normal stuff.RoyK
ParticipantLooking great! Very impressive especially considering you kept strong through a darn surgery…..amazing dedication!
I am happy to say I weighed in this morning and continue to see amazing results. I am down a total of 23 pounds and 15 inches. I feel the best in the gym and surfing that I have in quite a while. This challenge really has been awesome!
RoyK
ParticipantCongrats you are rocking this challenge!
RoyK
ParticipantWow 8 percent body fat that’s amazing! I hope you’re finding your comfort zone and this challenge is helping some!
RoyK
ParticipantYea totally agreed Spring this is the first competition against others I’ve ever done of this nature and it’s really helping having a prize incentive and going against others. I wish I would have figured this out a couple years ago shortly after I got married and gained 25 ” marriage” pounds 🙂
Good luck to you also!
RoyK
ParticipantThat’s awesome congrats!
I am proud to say I had an amazing month of January myself…. last month at this time I was feeling down and puffy… now in one months time I have lost 17 pounds 5plusinches and am having some of the best workouts I’ve had in years…. also fitting into clothes that I haven’t worn since 2014 and have not drank a soda since dec 31st!…. I really owe a lot to this challenge since it’s brought out my competitive side and has motivated me reading about everyone and their hard work…. so grateful!
RoyK
ParticipantI’m working on my phd so I already have no life, I guess that helps in this case! Lol
RoyK
ParticipantGreat job Traci!
RoyK
ParticipantIt’s been helpful for me to weigh in consistently and use as a motivator. Although everyone has their own needs and all.
RoyK
ParticipantThanks Kristin, same to you! I think it also helps that this is the first competition I have ever done resembling anything close to this. I’m a former college athlete and half marathon elite runner so I love the aspect of competing, and hate losing haha. Something new for me is not being hungry….like ever. An eating routine like this is so easy for me to maintain and I am sure I can keep this up for years to come. Like you stated with the other crash diets after a few weeks of misery, I was done, and would even gain back a few additional pounds lol….never again thanks to this eating plan and competition organized by Nicole 🙂

ParticipantI’m down about 14 pounds so far (5’11-234 now 220). Things have been pretty consistent and less weight has really helped with workouts and my movement/general energy level during workouts.
Eating to fuel is a lot different than eating to eat and be satisfied and that’s one of the main things that has changed for me thanks to this challenge. No paleo, whole 30, any other crazy diet where I am starving and miserable. It’s just changing my thoughts on eating. Loving things so far.
RoyK
ParticipantHahahaha that’s awesome! I hope the progress pics are going well, also!
RoyK
ParticipantYea around 8 or so pm have been the only tough times for me so far eating wise. I walk my dog during those times which helps so far
RoyK
ParticipantYou look great Rebecca! I see changes already, wow!

ParticipantHey Fellas,
Just checking in how are we all doing after 1 week? Good start here, been really hitting my workouts and am down about 13 lbs. I’m sure that will slow down but man things are feeling good. A “certain” type of “intimate” drive is even reawakening (not top be too tmi any other fellas experiencing anything like this?). It’s just amazing how the body can begin re-healing itself after such a short time. For me I was working out almost daily but my diet was awful. I am so thankful for this challenge.RoyK
ParticipantGreat to hear Sarah. Are you doing the challenge as well?
RoyK
ParticipantCongrats! I am down about 13 pounds so far and feeling good from a starting weight of 234(I am 5’11). I am planning on taking progress pictures about a week from now to add some motivation.
