Yes–my husband is following meal plan 1 for men and I have the same question–as far as I can figure, he is falling short with carbs and protein with that meal–thank you!

Add in the protein from the other parts of the meal–for example if you have yogurt in your meal, that would likely fill out the rest of the protein requirements–make sure to add in all the elements of the meal:)

Hi Rebecca! It just might not crisp up as much as you would like it to in a pyrex or glass baking dish–that’s why I use the cast iron skillet–cause I like the crispiness too:)) Good luck! If you use glass maybe turn the oven down by 25 degrees–it was kind of anexperiment for me so just keep a close eye on it:)

Yes! I have done it and it is yummy–just use a cast iron skillet but spray with a quick spray of pam as wellas adding the 1 T oil to the bottom of the pan–I placed my potatoes on the bottom , then the spinach and then poured over the eggs–sprinkle of salt and pepper and baked at 350 degrees till the eggs are puffed–mine took about 20 minutes–like a frittata!

I do the oat bran meal into pancakes–use some of the egg whites to make a batter and add 1/2t baking powder–cook up the rest of the eggs–yum:)

Hey everyone! I made my own Ghee–so easy and probably cheaper–I cannot find this in Canada where I live so I just googled it and the directions are super easy–just make sure to not leave the stove while doing it!

Just make the whole amount–then weigh it–divide that number by 3 servings–then you have the amount to weigh for next time–if you have to have 1.5 servings add .5 of what one serving would be–hope that helps!

Here’s my experience from Saturday night–a couple asked my husband and I out to go to a movie and dinner so I just packed my food with me! It was ok to have my meal as they were eating their burger and fries–Later after supper and the movie, they wanted sushi–some ordered wine or pop –I had a caffeine free peppermint tea–I have come to realize our society bases their social life around either food and/or drink–it really doesn’t have to be that way–it doesn’t matter what we are eating when they are eating–let the relationships be the star –not the food and drink. That being said, I try hard to make sure I am not tempted by what I see at a restaurant by following some of Nicole’s great tips–like making sure you are not real hungry when you go out and make your decision before you leave about what you are going to adhere to and of course pack your food.

I have added a little vanilla instead of water to the mix and it helps hold them together perfectly–as well as adding a touch of flavor:)

I have totally loved this first week!!! I have taken Nicole’s advice and stayed off the scale–walked into the gym this morning to do legs, and put on my weight belt just before doing squats and I pulled that baby another notch tighter and it was still loose:))) So motivating–thank you Nicole and team for such great support!

You can also break the rice cakes up into smaller pieces in a bowl and pour some of the shake over top–kinda like eating rice cereal

Here is another idea i am using and love it–use the lettuce leaves like a boat–layer in the chicken, avocado, cheese, divided evenly between the boats, then drizzle with salsa–i also have added a few drops of fresh lime juice on top–pick them up and enjoy–way easier to put down rather than a salad–not as enjoyable for me–hope that helps!
