StephanieParticipantThank you so much, Nicole! I will look into those! ?
StephanieParticipantAwesome, thank you so much Naomi! I don’t want to take the fun out of enjoying this meal but I don’t want to over do it either! So far I’ve completely stayed on track with the meal plan, so I’m looking forward to a little treat ?
StephanieParticipantI remember during a previous challenge, Nicole said something along the lines of it doesn’t matter when you eat, just how much you eat. I assume that applies to this challenge as well, but I’m not an expert so hopefully someone can fill you in for sure 🙂
StephanieParticipantI usually put one Stevia packet in my oatmeal after I’ve cooked it- a natural sweetener that is calorie free 🙂
StephanieParticipantOh wow, that is crazy! Thanks for the heads up!
StephanieParticipantOld Navy and Target! Budget friendly 🙂
StephanieParticipantThe hashtags only work if your account is public or if they become a follower of your private account ? I suggest making a separate account just for the challenge if you don’t want to make your account public. My original IG account went back as far as 2012, so I didn’t want to have all those posts publicly visible.
StephanieParticipant“As Many Reps As Possible” 🙂
StephanieParticipantI created an account just for this challenge 🙂
sjc1486 – not very creative either, haha!
Looking forward to seeing everyone’s progress!
StephanieParticipantI would go with lunges for an alternative to single leg press.
StephanieParticipantLooks like that was an old PDF because I see now that it’s been updated online! 🙂
StephanieParticipantUgghhhh trying to attach a photo but I’m failing
StephanieParticipant1 more ? For tomorrows crazy 8 abs : what’s the diff between med ball oblique twist and weighted oblique twist?
The video for med ball oblique twist is there in the list of exercises for that day. Not sure where you are seeing weighted oblique twist on crazy 8’s workout
StephanieParticipantWhew! That makes more sense, thank you!! I was hoping I wouldn’t need to grab all of that equipment at once, I’d probably get some nasty side eyes at the gym haha
StephanieParticipantI’m not an expert at all, but I’m thinking it has something to do with the lactose in the creamer which is a form of sugar, which I suppose could impede fat loss. I don’t know how detrimental having creamer once a day would really be to overall to fat loss. I think since they want us to see the best results possible in 45 days, that’s why dairy is eliminated. But I can’t imagine a little once in a while would be harmful in regular daily life. Again, not an expert here so I apologize if I’m spewing out BS! haha
StephanieParticipantI guess it depends on what meal plan you’re following. I’m following meal plan #2 for women, and on low carb days meal 2 calls for avocado.
StephanieParticipantI was assuming it was 100 reps total since in other workouts it is specified that you do X amount of reps for each side. Since it wasn’t specified in this workout, I assumed 100 reps total. But it would be nice to know for sure, definitely a big difference between the two! Hope you can walk after that!! ?
StephanieParticipantIf I am not going to be using the whey isolate, what would you recommend for a post workout meal? Would a serving of chicken and an apple suffice?
StephanieParticipant“As Many Reps As Possible” 🙂
StephanieParticipantThanks for the encouragement Lauren! (And others!) I’m really enjoying reading all these posts in the forums, great motivation! Let’s all kick some ass!!
StephanieParticipantCathleen – I have another idea for a a HIIT workout that I’ve done in the past and it doesn’t require any equipment. I would take a standard deck of cards (jokers included) and assign each suit an exercise. For example, hearts were jump squats, diamonds were jumping lunges, clubs were mountain climbers, spades were burpees. Shuffle up the deck and lay it face down, and whatever card you draw is the number of reps you have to do of that suit’s exercise. Since there are usually only two jokers in a deck, I’d make those 50 jumping jacks. Try to rest as little as possible between drawing cards. Really gets the heart rate going!!
StephanieParticipantOk, thank you both for the feedback!! I’ll probably play it safe and stick to the multi-vitamin 🙂
StephanieParticipant*lymphoma not lymphoms ?
StephanieParticipantI’m near Grand Rapids, MI and I’m a medical laboratory scientist. I work in the flow cytometry department where we primarily test for leukemia and lymphoms. It’s a pretty great job, but unfortunately lots of sitting around ?
StephanieParticipantJust submitted my photos and measurements, and I am just so ashamed ?But that’s the whole reason I’m here, to make a positive change!!
