I’m excited but SO nervous! I feel like I’m way out of my element here, but I’m hoping this challenge will be the spark I need for my fitness journey. I had my first baby 6 months ago, gained 60 lbs during my pregnancy, and lost 50 lbs of my pregnancy weight in the first 3 months post birth. But it was all thanks to breastfeeding because I certainly wasn’t eating right or exercising much. So basically I lost a ton of water and muscle mass. Despite continuing to lift weights during my pregnancy, I’ve lost a lot of my strength and cardiovascular ability since before getting pregnant, so it’s a little discouraging to be back at square one. I also feel like my body composition is probably one of the very worst out of all challengers; it seems like a lot of people here or that gave commented on social media are already pretty fit or have done fitness competitions in the past, and I’m no where near that! I’m just a fat mom trying to get in shape, haha. That being said, good luck to everyone no matter what your goals are!!
