So TWO servings OER MEAL is correct?

in reply to: Cauliflower Soup Recipe #515814

My question was…is the serving size correct? Is it TWO servings per MEAL?

in reply to: Cauliflower Soup Recipe #515706

Thak you Kathleen… I understand what it says – but was curious if it was a typo?

in reply to: Cauliflower Soup Recipe #515668

Hello! Can I get an answer please? I want to be sure I am eating correctly.

in reply to: Cauliflower Soup Recipe #515577

Regarding the Cauliflower soup – Meal Plan 3, Meal 3 Option 1 – is the serving size correct? Recipe makes six servings and I’m supposed to eat TWO servings??? That’s a LOT of soup!! 🙂

So hinging at the hip like that actually changes the target of that move that much? How interesting… Thank you so much!

in reply to: Liquid egg whites #505554

But not all are the same – for example – Kroger brand says 3/4 cup is 4 egg whites – Bob Evans is only 1/3 cup for 4 egg whites. I don’t understand the difference but that is what the cartons say. In general, I think 3 tbsp equal 1 egg white

in reply to: Women’s meal plan 3 #485763

Hello! On page 73 – Womens plan 3 – meal 2 – you have 339g of nonfat cottage cheese as 2 LP. However, on the food exchange list for nonfat cottage cheese – 225g as 1 LP. That doesn’t add up. Please clarify.

    Thanks!

in reply to: Protein powder #477317

Thank you all for the suggestions – I like the sound of all of them – I think I may try just throwing it all in a blender – not sure I’ll be a fan of the texture but it will be quick! LOL! Rock on!

in reply to: Protein powder #476809

So… for option 2 in plan three – I can mix the powder with 8 oz. water and cook it in microwave to make oatmeal?

in reply to: Optional Condiments #425472

On the condiments list – Hot sauce is not on there – like…Franks Red Hot – or Texas Pete – are these acceptable condiments?

That works for me! They turned out great! Thank you!!! Let’s GO!

in reply to: Tuna pattties #368829

Please don’t hate me! But even after I got an answer it still didn’t answer specifics. This recipe yields A LOT and if you make teeny tiny little 1 1/2” diameter patties you will have A LOT of little patties! If you make them 1 1/2” thick, you would still have to make them 3-4” in diameter! So, bottom line, do we just cook them how ever we want and divide it into four servings.

in reply to: Women’s meal plan 3 questions #368760

How long do we typically have to wait for answers? I need to make another batch of these today and would like to know that what I’m doing this time is right? I’ve seen a few other posts but, nothing has been clarified. Please help.

in reply to: Women’s meal plan 3 questions #366851

Wanted to add that they are really good!!!

in reply to: Women’s meal plan 3 questions #366838

Hello Ladies! I hope you are all well and staying safe!!!

Can you please look at the Tuna patty recipe…Number of servings (4). If you use the exact ingredients you get A LOT – then it says to form them into patties “about an inch and a half in diameter”??? What am I missing… I made 5-6 patties that are about 3-4″ in diameter…?

in reply to: 60 day body transformation #323121

Hey! Without giving too much info – I’m on the over 5’6, over 150 lbs. Meal plan. On the “meal 5” after work out – is this a typo for the first fruit???? That is ALOT! I mean… ALOT of them!!! LOL! I kept adding and adding thinking surely I was doing something wrong… please confirm that this is in fact correct. It is the same on the exchange list so I’m leaning towards no typo… but my goodness that is ALOT!

    Thanks!

in reply to: Meal plan #245612

Good Afternoon! On this first day – very exciting – I am over 5’6″ and 150# so I’m on the 3rd meal plan. I had the big egg breakfast (7:00 am) which was awesome! (I LOVE eggs) – then did the oatmeal/yogurt/almond butter (10:15 am) – bit pasty – but eh…Then… on to meal 3 option… Gr. beef/sweet potatoes/brussel sprouts…(1:00 pm) Good God! That is A LOT of food! I am about to bust!!! And I have to eat again at 4:00? I trust in Nicole and her team that this is a structured challenge plan of course – but I’ve not eaten large meals like this for a very long time – and I’ve lost 57 lbs. Carbs are NOT my best friend… my body doesn’t process them like other people… Am I REALLY suppose to be eating this much? I know I have both my cardio & weights this afternoon – not sure I’m going to be able to “slosh” around the gym! LOL! Just checking really with the size and frequency – please tell me there is a method to this madness!!! 🙂 🙂

in reply to: Meal plan #69758

    Hey! Good Afternoon!

I have completed the first day! YAY! However, I am a bit concerned about the food. I fixed the meal 4 for the larger woman and OMG!!! That was A LOT of food. So much rice, jeez! I have never eaten so many carbs in one day for a very LONG time. And after working out, going to the store, getting home – I fixed the meal four and then did further prep and never even got to meal five! I realize I need to do some time management adjustment, but HOLY cow!

With all due respect – and I have mad respect for you and your knowledge – but how in the world is it good for a heavy woman to eat so many carbs and so much fat?

Please let me know if I’m missing something or if I’m right on target. I’m just a little leery.

    Best Regards!

Is there any way to go to GNC and say: “Hey – I need this” and they can point you to the right things, or is it better to get the BSN specific stuff – and have to order on line?
