    I hope it helps! I find that pre-workout fats help me a ton and they keep my energy nice and even without filling up my stomach or causing an insulin crash. I used to stuff in large amounts of carbs, especially quick digesting carbs, and I would be half asleep at the gym. Now I feel strong throughout my workout but not with a full belly or insulin surge.

    Hi! I workout super early and feel great with half a banana, half a protein shake, and then either one tablespoon or nut butter or half an avocado. The fat helps me keep my energy high during the lifting.
