ParticipantYikes! I made a double batch using 2C almonds already. I thought it was a lot but they tasted pretty delish.

ParticipantI also don’t mix the fruit with my shake. I usually have my post workout fruit in the form of dried mango’s….costco has them with no sugar added, just simply dried mango. Its like candy to me.

ParticipantI wanted a change this morning so so I made pancakes.
Meal 2 Option 1
Blenderize:
1/2 LP – 112 g cottage cheese
1/2 LP – 3 egg whites or 1/2 c liquid
1 SC – 40g oatmealsprinkle on top
1 F – 8 walnut halves chopped
1/2 Fruit – 100g blueberriesI added 1 T of sugar free syrup at 10 calories/0 carb/0 fat/0 protein.

ParticipantDarby….We definitely got this! I am also just going to trust the process.
I am going to focus more on how I feel, the accomplishment of actually following through and my measurements….my waist is down 3″….I keep re-measuring because its hard to reconcile that with what the scale says.
I was down 3.5lbs the first week and now up 1.5lbs of that…still net down 2. I have decided I am putting the scale away until the end of the month….the scale is not my friend and to keep things positive in my mind it has to go.

ParticipantI have to say…I am on meal plan 3 and I thought it was a lot of food and I wasn’t hungry at all, I almost thought it was too much…then day 3 I woke up starving. Not sure how that happened but Ive been a little hungry all the time since then. I am sure it will kick in for you too!

ParticipantI get up at 5:30 to go to the gym so I do weights and cardio the same time. I never used to workout in the morning and for sure If I leave it for later in the day I’m not doing it. Trying to make a new habit of working before anything else in my day.

ParticipantI’m going to try to bake them next time….Im just not on board with the gooey texture. It could be the protein powder I used though. Still getting them down but not my favourite.

I would take 30g dry x the number of days you want to make it for, make the big batch then divide it equally in containers equalling the number of days. Might work for you.

ParticipantThat’s a great idea Rebecca, it’s easy to get hung up on numbers sometimes. I may try that as well…take some non scale queues/victories.
Right now I’m just wondering how I’m going to be able to walk tomorrow let alone do my HIITS!

ParticipantI’ve been doing the same, 7oz of drained tuna. I found the no drain cans…I use 2 of them. They are a bit more pricey but I’m not a huge tuba fan to begin with so this helps me get through it!!!

I kicked it the first week missing only 1 interval session. That alone is a win for me.
I am down 1.5 inches, 1 in the hip and .5 in the thigh. No scale movement the first week…hopefully it falls a bit after this week.Onward and upward!
