set counts not matching rep ranges count

I noticed on the Monday workout, and some others, that for example it will say 5 sets for incline bench press, but only give 4 sets of rep ranges and then on the DB Flye it says 3 sets, but has 4 rep ranges-can you explain that to me? Thanks!January 7, 2019 at 9:11 pm #225812
The rep ranges are by week. So if it says 3 sets, week one the rep ranges is 10-12. Week two the rep range for each of those 3 sets is 8-10, and week 3 6-8, week 4 back up to 8-10…

In cases like that, I have been doing the last set of reps repeatedly until the sets are done. For example, if its 5 sets of squats and rep range is 10-12, I would do 12,11,10,10,10….January 9, 2019 at 7:48 am #226247

Ok so in rxenakis’ example you increase weight for each set while staying in the range (ie10-12) for the week? I, too, misunderstood the rep ranges for each set noted! At least it’s only the first week!! Duh!!!January 13, 2019 at 10:07 am #227093
