ParticipantI baked the bread in a regular loaf pan and it never did set up or cook through. So I started over and used and more shallow “brownie” pan and baked according to instructions and it came out perfect. Hope this helps 🙂

ParticipantHi Nicole-
Any tips for minimizing the appearance of cellulite. A trainer I know swears that coffee ground scrubs help. I also heard from a friend who is also an Olympia Physique competitor that putting Preparation H on your thighs and wrapping them in Saran Wrap before cardio helps temporarily precontest. While I know there’s no magic cream, I wondered if Amnilean helps a little. Would love your feedback on this question. Can’t wait to cheer you on at the next Olympia. I saw you win the 2014 but didn’t get a chance to meet you. Hopefully I will this year. You inspire!!!Aimee
Hi Nicole,
It may be a weird or too personal question to ask you, if so, I apologize, but my husband and I have a bet going…. can you please tell me how many inches your biceps are?? lol.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks fitnik2016 for the post. It helps to see that I’m not the only one that has thought this. I keep telling myself to to trust the process too ?
Thanks for the advice ??Angie McElhoe
ParticipantHi there!
I got my challenge info and I have been going over everything. I am super excited about this!I do have one concern/ question…
I am 5’8″ and 159 pounds, I fall into the meal plan 3. I have been following Nicole’s workouts for about a year and I eat clean and track my macros. I don’t eat near the carbs that the plan calls for at the moment. I understand it is a building phase and you need the carbs. I did a “building phase” last winter and upped my calories and macros to almost the exact ones on the phase 3 and I gained 15 pounds. I was “fluffy” and stronger. I know I put on muscle but I struggled very much trying to get that extra fluff off. Currently I eat 180g protein, 115 carbs and 40 fat. I train 6 days per week with weights and some cardio ( follow a lot of Nicole’s workouts). With that combo I was able to shave off a about 6 pounds (which took forever).
My concern is that adding 725 calories to my diet all at once will cause too much weight gain. When I did the building phase last winter I slowly added 100-200 calories every 10 days and I still got fluffy. I did the building phase for aprox 3 months ( combo of cross fit with a trainer and good ole basic heavy weight training)
Am I overthinking this? (I know month of extra calories only adds up to 4 pounds) Do I have this all wrong ? ?
I have had my thyroid and all other hormone levels checked, all are good. Am I just a metabolically challenged person ?? LOL
Sorry for the lengthy post I hope I added enough info for you to help me.
Thank you so much for your input and time. ? -
