ParticipantThank you, Nicole! I really needed to read that at this moment. I am at the in-laws watching the football game and they’re eating Chili and roast. I measured out and brought my own food but theirs smells so good!
I will be proud of myself when I get home, knowing I ate what I brought instead of giving into temptation

ParticipantI am kind of scared to step on the scale! I feel like I am getting lighter and I am nervous that if I step on the scale, I wont see the proof of what I feel soo, I am not going to. I measured just my belly this morning and I lost an inch! A WHOLE INCH! I am good with that.

ParticipantI agree with Maxine. If I start eating later in the day, it’s easier to stay on track. If I get hungry later at night, I just go to bed.
The problem I am running into at the moment is telling my husband that I dont want to go out for his friend’s birthday. I dont feel like I am ready to go into a social setting with it yet. I am not a big drinker anyway so that is not a problem but if I am bored, I will eat everything in sight…

ParticipantI was thinking about trying Fabletics too! I have an abundance of Nike’s but to be honest, I feel like you can see through almost all of them and I am terrified to squat in them. I wear them for everyday wear now.. I am also looking.
If you get Lulu’s, I heard they will re-stitch the seams if you need them to and if they can’t they’ll let you pick out a new pair.

ParticipantGreat question! I was active when I was little doing gymnastics, track and cheerleading. As an adult I just do/did P90X, insanity, jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, running and CrossFit. I am still running, kickboxing and doing CrossFit (sort of).. I say that because there hasn’t been any consistency- I just feel like showing up and I do. I run fairly regularly though.
My “why” is that I want to be around for my son and show him a healthy lifestyle. My mom passed away suddenly from a heart attack at the age of 39, I was 14. That terrifies me. I am also doing it for me. I have anxiety and I also need to work on my self-confidence!
