ParticipantI’m sure they went over any medications and supplements you are taking? Of course, you want to go by the advice of your doctor, but it’s good to be your own advocate too. Make sure there isn’t anything else that could be causing it.

ParticipantI think they are adding the additional fruit in that meal plan option.

ParticipantAre you looking at the shopping list and not the exchange list?

ParticipantThank you. How long before you workout do you finish your meal?
kathleenmariemt
ParticipantThank you. I don’t like to workout on an empty stomach either and I can do 1:2 or whole meal prior but wondered if there’s some info out there as to whether an hour before or carbs or protein. What’s needed for energy prior and how long to digest prior. I don’t quite have not dialed in

ParticipantThank you!

ParticipantAny help, please.

ParticipantNaomi, thank you. I did read everything and watched. I know when to weigh cooked or not. In most recipes, it’ll usually say “1 lb cooked hamburger” and if it just says “1 lb hamburger,” it means raw. I know if Nicole writes 4oz chicken, 3oz sweet potato, 100g spinach, the chicken is cooked. I was asking for clarification in her recipes. I did not see this specifically stated in the ebook. I did look prior. This can be confusing in a recipe. In a recipe, you take the ingredients and prepare them as instructed. So since it tells you to “add turkey and seasoning and brown” I hope you can see why I would question that the 1 lb ground turkey could be 1 lb raw.

ParticipantMeal plan 3, meal 2, option 1. Thank you!

ParticipantSometimes I’ll put it on the scale and then divide by number of servings and fill each jar that way. So if it weighs 24oz, divided by 6=4 oz each. So I’ll scoop out until the scale hits 20, 16, 12 etc.

ParticipantI thought the corrections would be made and then we would get an email that the ebook had been corrected and then we could print it so it’s accurate. So no corrections will be made to the ebook? I just can’t go all over the forum to look for any changes and it would be nice to have.

ParticipantIve used the Vitamin and food processor and both turned out amazing. 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, right? It seemed like a lot to me and I was wondering if some weren’t putting it all in but it’s needed. I’ve made it several times and it has been perfect each time.

ParticipantThank you.

ParticipantOk. So don’t go to failure like usual. If I’m doing 15lb dumbbells and I can do past 20, do I stop at 20? If I were to increase to 20lb wts, I may only be able to do 12, so stick with 15lbs?

ParticipantThis correction and the others will be made in the book and we will get an email? I want to print it once it’s all corrected. Thank you!

ParticipantI used an 8×8 and it took a lot longer than 10-12 min. Muffins are a great idea!

ParticipantAny word on the rice quantity ?

ParticipantRemember, on workout days, meal 5 is your post workout meal, so needs to be consumed right after a workout. You can make this even in a shake, which isn’t as filling. If you are talking just your last meal of the day, which could be the larger one called meal 4, like Naomi said, try some less filling foods or move some of it to another meal earlier. Just wanted to clarify “meal 5” vs last meal of the day.

ParticipantIt’ll always be within 5G. It depends on what you are using to calculate the protein. Fitness Pal has one of the lower amounts of protein for 1lb cooked chicken. It varies on the internet. Cheddar cheese has some and reg tortillas have some. My calculations have protein at 25-26g protein per serving.

ParticipantThank you. The honey and pumpkin seeds were in addition to the recipe.

ParticipantNicole has said you can eat the same meal 4 times a day. This program is so flexible and doable. She does an amazing job.

ParticipantOk. They sat for 24hrs. I’ll compare to previous overnight oats and see if they are the same liquid amount. Otherwise, with the exchange list, many options!

ParticipantI finally found a store in my town that has nonfat dairy products. Crazy hard to find.

ParticipantNicole does go over this in the ebook. Go by your height. She goes over it in the W&A recorded from today.
