You can look at the exchange list. Yolks are under fats and the whites are under LP. It’s better to buy egg whites in the carton so you don’t waste the yolks. I’ll add one egg to my whites sometimes but then it’s 1/2 a fat exchange too.

Do they come out dense? Mine come out pretty dense instead of cakes. Is that correct?

I did with no weights and very slow until I could add weights. I have TRX so will use for balance when my muscles weren’t sure what to do also. Even a wall or stick until you can. Post your form on FB in Case there is something you aren’t doing right also.

Good catch. It’s on all 3 programs: gym and both home. I’m so used to reading wrong talk to text, I don’t catch some of these typos. My brain seems to just see what was meant. Lol.

I also workout late, around 7 so come home and have the dinner and post workout meal. I make a shake and drink that either on the way home or right when I get home and prepping dinner, so they are close together but it works out well.

I always find it difficult with these large batches. I know it’s difficult to say 1 serving size is 300g or 1.5 cups as some may put in 1 cup or 1.5 or 2 cups of broth, etc. I started with the 306g, as was kindly shared and it came out to almost 9 servings exactly. So then I skimmed some off of each to make the 10th. Who’s smarter than me to do this easier. Do you weigh a container and then pour the big pot into it and weigh it and then divide? Maybe I can not be so sloppy and try that way again. Lol

It makes 10 servings. So, it would be 1/10 for your husband. You would eat 3/4 of a serving. I would divide the chili in half when done. Divide his into 5 servings containers and whatever you figure the weight or measurement is for one serving, dish out 3/4 for you into containers.

Whole wheat tortilla = 1 carb
Cream cheese and feta = approx 1 F
    165g egg whites = 2/3 LP
    The exchanges are 1 F, 1 SC, 1 LP
Then the sun dried tomatoes in oil and the 40g spinach.
Just for educational purposes, it would be helpful to explain how the exchanges were calculated. Now that more things are clicking easier, I’m able to see things a little more clearly and, while I trust the process, I was just wondering if there’s more to it. It seems it should be 1C 1F 2/3LP 1/2 V. The macro difference is probably minimal. Thank you!

That’s how many starchy carbs (SC) you get in case you want to use the substitution list. If you look at the list, you get 1 1/3 servings of those. 8 Triscuits is what Nicole put as an example.

Not even sure how hitting the calories but not the macros happen? Are you following the nutrition plan and substituting correctly? Maybe list a day of your meals.

Ok. I know ti click on the arrow to look at the exercise and it shows the incline. If you type in High rows in the search, it shows many varieties. Thank you

I was wondering in this meal also that I thought it should fruit should try to be consumed earlier in the day? Phase 1 also has fruit as an option for meal 4.
