Participantjust based on my own experience with Nicole’s challenges, a long one like Day 1 will take at least an hour, the others look more like 45-50 minutes. Of course, that’s not counting cardio. I don’t have the luxury of doing them in the same visit except on weekends.

ParticipantOk, I don’t remember doing it that way before but that’s fine. Just wanted to make sure I was doing it right. Thanks Rebecca!

ParticipantSo when I look at the schedule for Training Phase 1, it has weeks 1,3,5 but weeks 2,4,6 are under Phase 2. Is this right? We’re working Phase 1 and 2 every other week?

ParticipantMenopause is a huge game changer! It’s too bad our mothers’ generation never talked about it, at least mine didn’t. Before menopause, if I needed to lose a few pounds, all I had to do was eat a little less and move more AND I could eat whatever I wanted, I just had to have smaller proportions. It took me an awful long time to figure out what worked, and 40+ lbs and 10 yrs later I finally started taking it back off. This challenge should really help get more disciplined to lose the rest of the fluff! We can do this!

ParticipantI’ll try to keep this super short. I’m almost 60 years old. I gained about 40 lbs over the from the time I was about 48 until about 1.5 years ago when I managed to lose 28 lbs. ( so I weighed 168 at 5’3″ and got down to 142) I accomplished that by giving up sugar completely and using myfitnesspal faithfully and really being cognizant of my portions. I have been following you for about 7 or 8 months now and lifting weights following your routines. I’ve gained back 12 lbs, I know some of it is muscle but I still have too much fat, especially the dreaded postmenopausal belly fat. I should also mention I feel off the sugar wagon awhile back and just can’t stop! I heard you say in your last Q&A that you didn’t really care for low carb diets, but it seems to be the only way I can lose the fat. I have a friend who’s training to compete and she is following the keto diet. What is your opinion of that way of eating. I’m having a hard time finding a way to get lean. Sorry, I didn’t keep this short after all.
