Between my own workouts and my activity level with my job I’ve had to bump myself up to meal plan 2 (I’m 5’2” and 145lbs). I burn about 1,000 active calories daily on top of my BMR. I was miserable on meal plan 1 but I have energy and better focus on meal plan 2. I’m still hungry but I’m not starving myself, so this works best for my body. Go with what is going to help you do the work!
