ParticipantTip….I weigh it in a big bowl then do the calculation (divide total weight by number of servings) to determine the serving size, then remove the bowl from the scale and place a new clean food prep dish on the zeroed out scale. Using a one cup measuring cup as a scooper, I put in the calculated serving amount.
Mine was over 1 cup.
The chili is amazing 😉

Is there any possible way that you can get Jan’s challenge out in the morning earlier than noon? Some of us only have Friday to shop, so when it rolls out late like it does I get off to a frazzled start versus starting off feeling ahead of the game…it would give us time to be able to thoroughly dig in to the information (which is a LOT) especially when your new. I have two new friends that will be joining this challenge and I don’t want them to be as overwhelmed as I have been at the start. I will be doing my best to support them with the knowledge I’ve learn, but when you’re new all the information and new terms are extremely overwhelming. I didn’t feel like I understood these program until 3 challenges in. I don’t want them to stop after their first challenge because they are overwhelmed.If it could roll out at like 7-8am on Friday that would be a dream come true 🙂

ParticipantI think on the Q&A on Monday you may have mentioned that you hadn’t tried the Garmin yet…. I’ve been waiting to buy a watch because I’m trying to decide which one is the best one to buy; all my friends that run use Garmin, but I read a lot of reviews about Garmin and a lot of people say the heart rate is not accurate and even the ultra runners I know say the heart rate is not accurate, but you say the polar is very accurate and I trust you because you’re so detailed about that stuff do you have any opinion in either way?

ParticipantI measured dry and mad 4 servings measuring dry per box instructions. It cooked up into a LOT. After cooking I weighed outthe allotted amount and it’s only about a tablespoon. Is this incorrect to only have a tablespoon-ish amount. Please tell me what the cooked amount would be. Cooked it seems like a lot. I can’t weight it dry again since it’s cooked so if you could let me know what cooked measure I did appreciate it.
