Also, just to piggy back off of that question. I like to enter the macros into myfitnesspal, I feel it’s easier for me to do that and add in the meal recipes in the challenge/mix with what works for me. Should I turn off the setting that allows additional calories after working out? I have currently turned that off for the challenge so that I can stay within the instructed macros, but I wanted to double check with you about that.

When you make the peanut butter balls, does anyone know the easiest way to measure out each ball to be sure you’re gettibg 10 of the correct size? Ex: 1/4 cup or 3oz. I’m just super type A and like to be sure I’m correct. I guess I could weigh the batter and divide it by 10 🤷‍♀️

I hope I did not misread the recipe, I thought it said it makes 12 waffles, and we eat 2 a day, which would cover us for 6 days. I made 15 because I was not sure how to make them, so I split it up to 2.5 a day. I will use 1/3 cup for the next batch, to try to get 12. Am I correct in my assumption, though? I am also concerned about the sweet potato mashed. I would like to know the exact amount I need to measure out per day. I measured 3oz prior to adding the turnips, then I measured 5oz per day, but I had a little bit left over. I want to make sure 5oz is not too much though.

Do we know the exact ounce amount it should be per day? I measured out 5oz a day, but I wanted to be sure that was correct. Also, I was not sure how big to make the pancakes and I made 15 pancakes rather then 12. I gave myself 3 per day because i thought if i gave myself 2.5 i would not be meeting my protein goal for breakfast, but that will only give me 5 days instead of 6. i want to make sure i am not eating too much with the 3 pancakes.

I wanted to ask, I work long days 2-3 days a week where I work from 730am-sometimes as late as midnight. I am active during those night shifts because I work in a restaurant at night. Should I space out my meals to every 4 hours so I am not done eating as early as 4:00pm? And also to be clear, I should not have my post work out meal still, correct? I am just asking because I walk sometimes 7 miles while I’m at work, and I am often starving by 8:00pm.

I have been noticing I have been a little irritable and tired the past few days. I assume it’s because my body is changing and I am losing weight. Is anyone else feeling like this? It may also be because in addition to the challenge I work 60 hrs a week so it’s a struggle. Just hoping it will pass..?

This is my first challenge so I am learning as I go. Are we supposed to take measurements every week? I have lost 4lbs since we started so I am sure they are different. If so, is it for us or are we supposed to submit them?

I have a similar question as well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I work 16 hour days, so my first meal is at 8am and my last meal will end up being at 4:00pm before I start my second job at 4:30pm. Is it okay to go all night without eating anything else? If I am hungry, is there something I should have? I will be okay pushing through if I need to but I want to be sure I am correct in doing so.

    Hi Naomi,

I have a similar question to Miriam. My “days off” from the gym will have to be Tuesday and Thursday because I work 16 hour days those days. My understanding is that I should eat a high carb day the day before I target legs or bis so I am eating a high carb day today (Tuesday) because tomorrow will technically be my “day 2, legs glutes calves and cardio”. Then I will have another high carb day on Friday because Saturday will be my Day 5, arms abs and cardio. Is that correct or should I just follow the schedule regardless of when my days off are? I just want to make sure I am doing everything correct and there are a lot of variables.

    Thanks,
    Laura
