    Okay so needing a bit more clarification here.
    Do you do ALL 10 reps with the right arm first BEFORE doing it with the left arm, then ALL 10 reps with the left arm, then the final 10 reps are all done with both arms together for 1 set?

    Ah perfect! I’ve been using Tilapia, sole and Cod so was hoping that was good. Thank you for the super quick response Nicole….now off to cook more fish tacos!

    Thank you for reiterating that Nicole. I keep seeing how everyone seems to be losing weight. And lots of it! I was starting to second guess myself and feel like I must be doing something wrong. I’ve lost maybe 2lbs in the whole 3 weeks. But I’m following everything as planned…all the meals are on (no cheating) and getting all my workouts in. I feel great!

    Your doing everything right! This first phase isen’t about losing weight it’s about gaining muscle. Which you can’t do in a calorie deficit. Have patience. Phase 2 is right around the corner. Keep up the great work 🙂

    No problem Laura. I also feel even when I’m on my game I can’t seem to do this one properly. I’ve been working out for 4 years now and can do regular deadlifts out the whazoo but have me doing these and I feel like a newbie. But I guess that should be what the essence of this challenge is about. Challenging ourselves to improve our weeknesses…one’s we ignore or weren’t even aware of. Good luck with the challenge 🙂

    Hi Naomi. Sorry to hear of your injury. It’s always going to effect training in some way.
    Thank you so much for the advice.
    It makes sense that there’s a difference in the Unilateral and bilateral version and I actually did hold on to something when I did these the first time so I’m going to go back to that and try to slowly ween myself off.
    And I’ll definitely make sure I’m feeling those 4 points you mentioned.

    Hi Rachel.
    Thanks so much for your input. And you’re right in everything your said. I’m trying to just let it go and think of sticking to the program. I also think I was probably eating the same amount in total calories before, if not more, then is required of me on this program but the difference is in the quality of the food (I was eating too many processed sugary foods) and the timing of the meals.
    Thanks again…and looking forward to making some changes 🙂

    Hello everyone. My name is Sandra. I live in Toronto, Canada. I’m super excited about this challenge. My problem has always been diet and nutrition. I can work out 6 days a week and love strength training but also love all forms of HIIT and Interval Cardio training but just can’t get my diet in check. Hoping this challenge helps me clean up my act! Pun intended 🙂
